I'm in the Memphis area and don't think they'll have them anywhere around here. The one shop that could possibly get them is just like all other shady spots most of the time... Called today and they just said NO as soon as I said Yeezy... LMFAO :rofl:

My shot was online and I couldn't checkout... Had them in cart and everything but no luck...

So on that note I'm going to join the OPTIMISTIC crew just for the sake of it, even though my gut is telling me otherwise. Don't want to give into paying resell.

There is a store here in melbourne that is getting a whole 8 pairs.

Going to be biggest waste of my times but i will go and put my name down. Probably be about 500 people lol.

what does adidas think they're doing?

do they think they're hyping people up cuz they're really just pissing people off.

Can't remember exactly if it was there or at Proper for the Y2 raffle they flat out had a separate bowl behind the counter with a few tickets in it smh 
 
Starting to buy into the fact that they're they're building hype for a bigger release. Such small allocations. Have to have a shortage from production issues in China or a rushed release or something. Just doesn't make sense that they would drop a ton of pairs in NYC (although it was All-Star Weekend) and have such ****** allocations elsewhere. Also curious they would just abandon the app after one release. I'm either just being overly optimistic or Adidas handled this release the complete wrong way, which wouldn't be too hard to believe.
 
Yo all theses shops are getting 10 pairs each... either they're giving pairs to employees and friends or adidas is trolling.
 
Call me a skeptic, but I don't believe any of this. It's not that I think he is misinformed or Kanye doesn't want that to happen, but judging how these are being released and what Kanye's name can do for Adidas- It is not in their best interest in mass producing one of their most hyped shoes they have ever made. How many $350 + Tax GRs are out there on the market? Y-3 Qasas retail for $385 and they don't exactly sit- with a lot less hype. 

I do think Adidas will string along a slew of releases, but each time it will be equally as frustrating. They want the hype machine to stay in motion for a long period of time. They are giving this guy a whole clothing line. This shoe will drop here and there to keep the Kanye buzz in motion. This shoe is never going to get flooded or GR. It's the "Long Con".  They will tease you with releases and then flood the market with the Kanye Runners. They will be much more accessible, but still be selling out instantly and still demanding double re-sale. At this point, the people buying a KANYE sneaker is any and everyone.

I remember walking into a Finish Line over the holidays to enter the raffle for XIs and they told me they cut the raffle a whole day short because people were coming in and not buying anything and messing up conversion. I shoulda called corprate for that ****
 
One thing that is known Adidas dropped the ball as Ed said and the Ye camp ain't pleased. So I take it as they will bring more pairs

For those who don't know this is Chinas New Year and the whole country shuts down for nearly a month. I work in supply chain so they may have a few workers if that. Production has all but ceased, factories tend to open back up at the beginning of March. If there is to be a huge GR it won't be until May, then you see things pick up. Now Adidas is well aware of the New Year so they could have under ordered and are giving a few pairs out a time until production starts back up or they have plenty and are just giving out a few pairs at a time to build hype. But one thing is for certain, the shoes are not being produced now.

Yeah its weird cuz kanye even said himself he didn't want a price point like they came up with and he wanted everyone to be able to get them.. But I don't see that happening with the current price point and how they are releasing... But the factories in china are shut down right now so that could be the reason for the staggered releases... I do believe they will do a lot of releases though because it's hard to leave that money on the table.. They aren't nike no matter how hard they try... Resellers aren't moving these like that.. I mean I could be the minority but I don't even see myself rushing to spend 350 on these and I damn for sure not gonna spend reseller price when I could go after the yeezy 2's which in my eyes are 10x better then these..

Just thinking logiically, i can't see Adidas only using the app once for these.. It likely another release scheduled for the 750 boost at some point that they'll utilize the app again..

i could be wrong, and they may use it for the lows... but if they don't that was a waste of time to create it

They said theyd use it for all types of releases so theyll use it again, just maybe not for the yeezys and theyd have to fix it first
 
I'm not sure if most of you are optimistic of delusional lol. Didn't Adidas say these are limited and Kanye admitted these are limited even though he didn't want them to be?

Look at the Pusha T's...they haven't restocked or dropped in large numbers.

What makes us think these will all of a sudden be dropped in waves? Do you really think Adidas was producing these this month that there are factory delays because of the Chinese New Year? These were made months in advance just like all shoes do in production runs...I hope they drop more pairs but these comments and theories are funny... Come on lol

True, Id rather take my chances with the app. Just not sure if theyre gonna use it. They need to give us some kind of answer as to what retailers are gonna get pairs. I heard something about footaction but no retailers are saying anything as of now.
