People just can move on, no one really knows anything until a day or so before.

I know it sucks for those that actually liked the shoe and wanted to wear it. Whatever model kanye / Adidas wants to use is up to them but imo Kanye isnt and can't be taken serious as a designer if he has to use this limited model still to sell stuff. Plenty of nice high end and low end shoes that are moving off shelves. They don't need this limited hype bs.

Someone mentioned earlier LA stores aren't releasing any this weekend.

Other than that, I've been told to expect a raffle, they won't get them, or to call back... Seems to vary based on whoever answers the phone. It's all a mess :lol:
 
Man, adidas is a joke for even handing these out to stores if the shoes really are that limited. This all needs to be done directly through adidas (as bad as last week was). Most of these are getting backdoored. Nothing we can do about it.

once again i say adidas should fire their pr team. they way they have handled this was beyond idiotic. when the sneaker was finished, what last month or less than that, they should have let kanye give them out to all his friends and have them blast it all over IG,TMZ etc. At or AFTER the fashion show(which ADIDAS handled poorly, the only thing from THEM on that fashion show was a youtube video, NO pictures of the actual looks from the show on the official website?) they should have made an announcement of when stuff would be available, example yzy750 coming late march, yzyboost low coming late april, theres your hype theres your craziness all while photos catch kanye wearing all different installations of his line in photos from now until first release day. now if the 750s are limited say it thats fine be like only 100k pairs made or whatever but have ONE SOLID RELEASE WITH INFORMATION BACKED BY THE COMPANY not 4 small massively confusing releases where the COMPANY gives you ZERO information.

ADIDAS doesn't know how to handle this culture, this is their first venture into the real 'hypebeast' culture, you don't need to rush anything to put it out, just let the sheep know its coming and they will wait for it. as much as everyone hates on nike they know how to handle themselves in this situation.

you don't build hype by releasing small amounts of kicks every weekend and putting sour tastes into peoples mouths
 
you have THE MOST hyped person in this sneaker game on your side and you still **** it up.

the CEO is probably some 60 year old white repblican who is so out of touch with the world all he wants to do it make bread and he doesn't care how its done.

its like having lebron james on your team and telling him he can only pass the ball

Exactly. And makes you wonder why Kanye really left. Makes it seem about the money right now.

kanye really left bc nike told him to **** off when he said he wanted to make clothes, even tho the clothes WILL SELL OUT, nike didn't want that bad publicity that sticks with him to also run off to them, they didn't want to tarnish their image bc he would have had to be more vocal. with the y1 and y2 they released sneakers he help designed the end. a clothing line would inject more kanye into their world

A lot of truth written in this post. Especially the line in bold. I feel like the hype they created is built on a lot of frustration and dissapointment.
