Yup, apart from that dude, there were a group of guys in front of the store asking me what size and if I was selling. I would not feel comfortable doing business in the street. Specially if it's with ppl I don't know.
I regret not getting his number just in case lol

Well I took the suggestion and called Adidas about the pending charges on my account. I had 10 pending charges because I kept trying to finish checking out. They said 9 got cancelled and there's one order that went into the system. They gave me an order number, but said it's not guaranteed and that I would find out in 24-48 hours. This is from the initial release, but not counting on anything. If I get them, great. If not, at least I got the SBBs today.

My advice...consignment when prices go up.
eBay leaves you open for scams but if you ship with signature and full insurance amount, you should be good.
Not stereotyping but a lot of the cash buyers were Asian and they were paying top dollar for 5-9

Purposely. Those orders are good to go. Only way I see cancellations coming is if it oversold. Which in that case, you try and avoid that by using Overnight shipping
I thought it was kind of dope that stock was reserved for those who missed out on the initial release.
Very very well done release by adidas. For the most part, the site stood. And it seems like they had a lot of stock. Most people I know got through

Yeah I like that, it shows who really wanted the shoe versus who didn't. Those dedicated were rewarded.

or you got lucky like me. I was at the right place at the right time. Didn't wake up to cop. Just browsing this thread with no hopes of grabbing a pair, just looking for lulz. Someone posted that link and bam, pair was copped. I was talking about prepare for cancellation emails to those getting through, so decided to check for myself. Placed an order in for **** and giggles. And somehow, it went through
