The crazy-close to retail reps that were posted in here a few pages back are not out to the general public yet. So reps should be much more obvious. A legit check on here or reddit is always a good idea though!

The reps don't know. And they don't care in a situation like this. One where EVERY call they receive all day is dudes calling about these shoes.
When I was a CS rep for Bank of America I used to say all types of BS to people.
If I didn't know the answer to something. I'd just make something up.
ESPECIALLY if it was close to my lunch break, or almost time for me to bounce and go home
