Man them pay 5-20$ for a shoe raffle are the worst I would never be so thirsty to give my money to a clown on ig for a chance to win a pair.

But I know little kids really want that 200$ shoe to stunt

Srs tho this is getting out of hand like people who pay 10$ plus for stickers cause that's the hype beast thing to do.

Oh and the dudes selling a Supream beach ball for dumb money.

Like people wanna throw their money at things now

Side note between the fakes and the amount of scammer buyers on eBay that whole site is becoming a joke.

Them open box scammers have no chill now. Had one and a buddy of mine had another in the same month. Be careful shipping ur shoe fellas

Make sure you guys make a video of the packaging process and mailing process. I always bring everything unpacked to the post office parking lot. Start recording myself opening the box with the product I'm selling, give a good view of the item, then boxing and sealing it with tape, then get a good angle on the prepaid shipping label, continue recording myself walking to the post office with the package and handing it off to the clerk behind the window. I sometimes make a tiny noticeable mark on the box where I already taped it up, so if the buyer makes a video opening the box by doing the bait and switch, I'd know if it was my package and how I shipped it if that "mark" of seal is broken. Gotta protect your own neck.

Credit card nor paypal take videos as evidence so you're doing it for nothing.

Just ship to confirmed address, over weigh your stuff, signature and insurance on everything, adult signature...just pay the extra $10

oh wow really? I rarely sell stuff but when I do, I include all that information on the invoice so the buyer is somewhat "warned" not to pull some slick ish. I let them know everything is documented so any chargeback or bait and switch methods are considered fraudulent and won't be given a refund.  I also add signature confirmation. I let the buyer decide if he wants to pay extra for insurance.

yes that's true. I knew a one guy from fb group gave his recorded video to protect himself from the scammer but paypal didn't even give **** about it.

Paypal protection are good for the buyer but not for the seller.

Pretty sure paypal has a rule of goods worth more than $250 must be insured when shipped. You better check the fine print.

With regards to shipping items, I go through the whole usps zip code lookup for eligible address, signature confirmation, and insurance if needed.  In addition, I have gone the extra step of placing shoes in ziploc bags and securing it with tamper proof tape and initialing the tape and bag to create uniform lines on both surfaces.  Granted, if one really wanted to go through the effort of circumventing this method, is not going to stop them.  However, I hope this method would at least dissuade and intimidate those of weaker constitutions.

eBay has gotten better with buyer protection u right PayPal is not your friend also eBay and PayPal are becoming two separate companies

eBay has seller protection due to the amount of buyer scams

Especially open box claims. USPS marks open boxes with a damaged and broken stamp and its places in the tracking. Making sure they signed for it keeps chain of custody under control

Popular scam is that they claim they "found" the box open, slashed at the bottom of the box and no item. They usally request A refund to see if your dumb enough to send it. Then after that they send a claim.

eBay use to just give them their money. Now they make them file a police report which no scammer trying to do because they usually use fake address and names. And a police report puts pressure on them.

Im currently on a plane coming back from miami to LA and was very excited that my pair would be in the mail...only to still see that my pair is out for delivery and its 8:10pm in LA...really hoping the ups driver isn't some guy who knows what's inside the box...

Just saying lots of young dudes selling high dollar items there are wolves waiting in the wing.

Just be smart your making about 400-600 dollars profit pay for ins pay for sig conformation and pay for adult sig.

Only ship to PayPal address

Let eBay eat that 10% because invoice removes eBay seller protection and PayPal always 75% of the time sides with the buyer

Be smart be safe no one is your friend when they buying a 200$ at 4 to 8 times the value they are a customer and should be treated as such. Keep it business only ignore any and all sob stories about its for a birthday or my husband wife or child. They try to make it personal. don't let them

Yeezy's arrived on Tuesday but I was away on a business trip for the past 3 days. Finally came home and opened up my package. Got the brown box of approval and my size 8's! I'm a true 9 in all Nike (racers, af1, am90, am95) and 9.5 in Asics glV. They fit very true to size, almost too perfect. Some people may like that, but I prefer a looser fit, especially since these are casual shoes. But I can definitely see why people are hesitant to go tts, since they might end up too loose. Idk what I'm going to do with these yet, but they are damn comfortable!

Ahh hope so. Just thought it would be delivered today as it said on UPS that it is out for delivery today.

so what was the reasoning some pairs, like myself, came with the black box?

A little disappointed, from a collection standpoint. I liked the simple tan box they came with.

They just wanted to kill resell for some people, it won't bother you much since you are keeping your pair but I get the irritation.
