I personally think you're the gullible one. Never doubt the stupidity of the masses and finding Ali express is easy. They pop up in search results in google shopping. Anecdotally speaking I have people asking me about Ali express and random Chinese brands that claim the fakes as their own designs all of the time. Fabrixware is a good one. Hell my own mother asked me about it after someone mentioned them on facebook.
 
If you are buying from Taobao, Aliexpress, or anywhere where you need to send a western union to buy shoes then you damn well know you aren't purchasing through conventional means.

They know they are getting fakes and if they aren't 100% sure they know something is sketchy.

The masses that end up with fakes are getting them from IG, FB groups, and Ebay.  They also aren't paying $200, people are usually paying resale only to find out they were sold fakes.

You would think so but that isn't the case. I've bought phones from Ali express using PayPal. Some sellers from ali express use paypal and they do have legit products. The point is that if they don't know the shoe or clothes exist and see it on a site claiming its under their brand, how are they supposed to know they are fake? Fabrixware does this all of the time and fast fashion clothing companies like H&M do it all of the time with clothes. Jordan's are one thing. This is different.

It'd be damn near impossible to find a seller on aliexpress that's selling fake shoes and accepting PayPal as a form of payment.
Outside of the fact that the buyer could file a chargeback once they find out the shoes are fake they also don't want to deal with being on the hook if the package gets seized by customs for importing counterfeits.

This is true for companies that are openly selling fakes. They aren't. That's the point. Its like how H&M sells Stan Smiths.

If you search hard enough I'm sure you can find a size 10 for under 2k.

A size 9 would be more expensive than a size 10.

If you buy from an established seller/business then be prepared to pay above 2k.

It'll be cheaper to find a pair from an individual seller. You'll just have to be sure to cover all of your bases to insure you don't get scammed. But finding an individual seller with a legitimate pair takes time and patience. Most listings are for fake pairs, especially now with the fakes being much improved.

I recently found my pair for far below average price but I don't expect that to be the norm. I feel like I lucked out.
