...had po' lil Santa out there soundin' like Peter Griffin - **** was just like "Dead Presidents" when they went to the hood to give the kids gifts and Chris Tucker was like, "See that's why Santa don't even come down here - he afraid he gon' get robbed!!!" :lol: .

Cliffs

-Couple dudes make jokes about DC, implying that crime is still bad there (before a lot of people didn't go the southside of the city unless for a very good reason)
-Couple other dudes get upset and say DC isn't even that bad anymore
-Rico says if it isn't that bad, why doesn't people want to live there and points to apartment prices as proof
-Others say it is just Section 8 that allows people to live cheaply within the city
-Rico provides apartment link as proof that is not true.

In the end, the truth is that DC has been improving, especially from say 10 years ago. But foolishness still happens a lot in the city. It is just that it has spilled over into PG since. So in the end, DC is a lot better than it used to be, but it is still bad in some areas.
 
Certain parts/elements of the city (or any city for that matter) won't change...

...but that **** is cake compared to what my generation (80s baby) grew up in.
 
Yeah you start pushing that element outta DC it's only natural they end up in PG. you still got some elements even in the nicer parts. I was in somewhere NW and chick was acting like we were run away slaves when we strayed from her like "yous can't be walkin round here like dat, stay in da car, deys coming". I didn't get it though, some little Asian dude in short shorts and a yorkie just walked by and seemed fine. I guess it was one of those in between neighborhoods.

Use to mess with a chick in SE too. Every time I headed out I always prepped like it was a setup.

People are just confused in the city ... Roll down by RFK I've literally witnessed a crack deal and a white woman running with her yorkie at the same damn time ... They got parts of PG all types of screwed up too ... For my family we don't have enough cake for a spot in a nice neighborhood in DC, but now feel some type of way that our quiet neighborhood is starting to get more dangerous ...

I think my next move is some land in Va or West Va ... I need to get some acreage between me and the riff raff ...
