The Combat Jack Show Thread

Bleek is real deal. I enjoyed that episode even though I knew basically everything Tax asked about.

It's the way Bleek speaks with punchlines. I like the way he doesn't say anything negative about people or kick them while they're down.

The Amil story still makes me  You'll never see her again, and I never saw her again

People talk about Jay not being loyal, but that's from a Harlem/BK stand point. Jay's been loyal to people, just not Dame. And he had reasons.

It's interesting how his view on ghostwriting sort of changed as the Dusse kicked in. Like I said earlier, it's true it's been done, Biz, Latifah, Salt N Pepa, Fat Joe, Dre, Eazy, Puff...but none of them have been celebrated as a lyricist or top rapper and bragged about it as such.

I wish they would have a week with Stephanie not on Lip Service. The Luke one should be interesting. I went to GiGi's page, and chick has some crusty lips like she's been smoking blunts for 20 years. I've seen dudes like that, never a female.

Tax Season sounds like a bunch of dudes fresh out the pen talking **** at the barbershop.

And Joe's podcast is one of my faces for some reason, now. Marissa is a lot less annoying as she was the first few episodes.

Usually can't stomach the brilliant idiots mainly because of Andrew Schulz, but the episode from the other day with AR-AB was good as ****.

AB is a funny dude

Schultz is so clueless. He said meek doesn't have 1 club banger. Like the intro hasn't been playing in the club for 3 years lol. Drake even said the "intro" is the greatest song of this past decade.

Bleek and Tax seemed like old friends linking up. You could tell they cut from similar cloths.

When he was talking about putting the roaster chicken on bet for flex I knew what it was.

.

He's a vanilla white dude so he's speaking from the crossover/mainstream aspect.

They even mentioned him not going to the more hood clubs so he probably doesn't know about the intro

I get that. But he tries to play both sides like he's so in tune with hip hop and what's popular. You don't have to go to a very hood club to hear a Meek song. Schultz goes to the types of clubs where Flo-rida and Pit-bull are played non stop, with the occasional Drake track.

Meek has a few legit hits under his belt. He's acting like meek is a nobody rapper when his 1st album is gold and the second album just sold 240k in the 1st week with the #20 record in the country.

I just feel like when it comes to a lot of urban things, Schultz has no idea what he's talking about, yet has a very strong opinion.

This

and it's one the reasons I stopped listening to them.

He gives his opinion as if he's in the know. When he started giving his opinion on black people and Chatty let his opinion ride. It was time for me to stop listening.

This.

His girl being mixed means very little. I don't know anything about her but she could be into the flo-ride/pit bull sound too or the type of mixed girl with no black friends and only knows what's on the radio.

Gotta listen to the bleek episode. Never really heard him talk much before

Schultz low key is a little racist. CTG rarely checks him when he's wrong about black people. They THINK they are telling it like it is, but often are clueless.

I enjoyed the AR AB part because it was mostly AB talking. Schultz couldn't interrupt to much with his corny slick remarks. Legit can't stand dude.

You seem to be focusing on whatever issues you have with him and his comments about Meek instead of what I said...regardless of what he tries to portray listening to him you know he doesn't know much about anything in general so it's makes sense that he isn't familiar with Meeks work especially since he doesn't like Meek ...CTG said that repeatedly

You're spitting out all these numbers like everyone keeps up with this stuff...

There are people walking around in the US who don't know who Drake is so where do you think Meek falls in the grand scheme of things???....you guys really have to step outside of their own perspective.

Schultz is mad corny, Marissa actually helps Joe's podcast in a sense (although she is a bird majority of the time)

The Bleek episode was good it was real and to the point, sounded like some OGs from the hood chopping it up.

I just like bout the last 30 minutes of the bleek joint

Schultz broke up with his girl btw

his perspective is highly ridiculous and damn near impossible to believe he made it this far without getting himself hurt

I don't know why I put my ears thru this every week

lol I stopped listening to Brilliant Idiots months ago, dont know how you all do it. I dont care if Cam'ron and Nas are on there, I can't tolerate Schultz

I checked out the episode  A lot of self incrimination in order to make himself look tougher. Wax is a funny dude. More nonsense from Schulz as usual.

Luke and his Urine Parties

It's a bunch of grandmothers out here going to their grave with that

Best episode in a minute. . Not saying much.. but it was dope. These type of episodes are why i listin..

Yeah, I really liked this Warren G episode. He's a good interview. I forgot some of the songs he did.

I just remember getting Regulate...G Funk Era and being pissed I wasted my $15
