Premium Pete got a weird vibe to him and jack is definitely a cornball.

Pete isn't for everyone. He can be a bit much and very wordy at times, but you can tell that he cares about the culture and genuinely wants to connect with people. He's also pretty much the complete opposite of Combat so it works out.

I haven't always agreed with Tariq's views. But if there was anyone for Schulz to speak with, it would be Tariq. He's not with the ****s at. all.

From what I've seen, Tariq's method of argument is to assert a point, provide what he believes to be fact, and then hurl insults to aide in defending them.

I'd imagine it will end up being a shouting match where little is learned... I don't have high hopes for that conversation. Would rather they get Umar or someone like brother Polite on the show to debate. I'm cool on shout-fest podcasts. Especially TBI, which is hard enough to listen through sometimes as it is.

I've listened to his podcast over the years. I'm not discrediting dude, as I believe he has a good wealth of information and an understanding of history.

But I'm not going to pretend that he's a world class orator known for his poise. For the most part, and this is strictly from what I've listened to on his pod, he is giving his opinions and takes to the mic with no one there to challenge him. He absolutely gets loud. I'll find the video from fox if you haven't seen it. His last appearance on Fox News doesn't inspire much confidence that this will be a conversation absent of raised voices and people. It listening to one another.

I think it's a good idea to have such a conversation, but I believe there are people better suited for the job... like Umar and Polite.

I'd prefer to hear Marc Lamont Hill have a discussion with Schultz. He's much better at engaging people and having those key "teaching moments" that Schultz needs. However, I also think Schultz just says **** for attention.
