The Combat Jack Show Thread

That was interesting about Rae and 2 Chainz

I actually like his project

I like Juan Ep. better but I still subscribe to Jack's show

It's funny to me how he never spoke on it until that interview outside of the country, and still isn't speaking on it. When it's based around his comments.

Joe seems intent on trying to pull it out of him. The Drake jabs are wack. He doesn't respect Combat.

Second part of Mr Cee was cool, but not really anything new.

Interesting how Rosenberg isn't getting any guest for Joe, and their big guest still hasn't appeared

Bomani didn't appreciate being called out and then called either  He mentioned it on Evening Jones. BTW, the second half of Life After Death isn't that great at all. Too much experimentation.

He did say over rated tho?!##. That's crazy coming out of Bomani's month. The album is a a classic, with very few skip worthy songs IMO.I wonder what Peter would actually do with Combat in the same room as him..lol .

Joe going at Drake was kinda ehh, he doesn't want that at all. It's crazy how many more listens this podcast has over both Peter/Combat's. I mean it was Raekwon which IMO was very boring, but still.

I wouldn't mind hearing Fat Joe, KRS-one, and Ice Cube from Combat in the future.

Naw, I mean Peter does the Drake subliminal route, but went directly at him in that interview.

And I think damn near every Tupac album is overrated besides Makaveli and especially All Eyes On Me, so it's an opinion [kanye shrug]

Ehhh. I hope your not from the West, if so "off with your head"!!

Joe is asking Peter lame Rosenberg to get him guests .. when he has the birdies and is a part of slaughterhouse

Interesting

Mister Cee talking about groupies.:rolleyes

The first interview I was aware of it, but the second one I sort of blocked his pause worthy comments out.

Wait when did this whole bomani thing go down

A couple of weeks ago on Bo's podcast Evening Jones(separate from the ESPN one) someone asked him about overrated albums, and he named Life After Death. Like everything these days it went viral and HipHopDX and Boxden were talking about it.

They were talking about it on Joe's, and Peter has his number and he called him up to speak on it on the show...without warning mind you. Then sent him a text when it went to voice mail. :smh:

Bo was like wtf on his show.

It was tacky and not professional, typical Rosenberg

Interesting

It's understandable, it's on Rosenberg Radio and he's getting a cut from it. He might as well take Pete's name off it if he's not going to do anything. He should have just done it on Loud Speakers Network.

I subscribed to that boxing/mma one The Corner. Seems cool.

last few posts made me listen to Joe's podcast

it was cool...his voice is really weird to me...i doubt i listen again unless i've listened to all my others...

Dr. Hill interview was dope, but how's he going to get mad when Big Boi called him out when he basically
said Big Boi was light weight in a competitive art like rapping? No artist worth anything would let
that slide no matter what. If this interview would have been scheduled a week later it would have been x10.

The Dr Marc Lamont Hill :nthat:

Even though it took place before Baltimore it still very much applied and went along with it

I still find it odd he worked for Fixed News when they fit what he defined as to a T as far as brainwashing and scaring the underclass.

I forgot about the Big Boi thing

Great episode.

Didn't know about the Michael Eric Dyson/Cornell West thing. Don't know all the details but I'm kind of disappointed in those guys for that.

That's been brewing, because it's been very noticeable with Dr West and Tavis Smiley since they didn't get a key to the white house like some others did. They've openly talked about some of Obama's supporters in Drake fashion attacking their integrity(Dyson being one), so I knew it would turn around on them. It just didn't look good the way Dyson did it publicly, even though I understand why he did it.

I actually prefer West to Dyson, but I think West and Smiley let personal animosity get in the way of their logic rather than actually trying to challenge Obama.

I always took it like Smiley had the how dare he attitude towards Obama for skipping his state of the black union. Especially him rejecting Michelle coming in his place, as if Michelle is a nobody and not good enough. I always thought he picked Hillary's side early anyway, because he didn't think Obama had a chance of winning.

Dyson tells it different in a series of interview snippets i listened to on sound cloud.

Not only was tavis and west upset that Obama didnt bendover to them, they also began slighting Mellisa harris-perry when she got the gig at MSNBC.

Suggest you go peep that, as I didnt explain it fully or clearly for that matter.

Tavis and West went all out on Obama over personal reasons and not actual policy, which Dyson does.

+Dyson supporter so take it how you will+

Yeah, I agree with Marc Lamont Hill about how West attacked them. It was beneath him frankly. It was like he was getting frustrated he was being ignored, so he started lashing out for attention. First it was the subliminals and then it was outright attacks. The first term they got attention, but by term two Tavis and West act had grown tired and people started tuning them out.

I also think he was getting upset, because Melissa Harris Perry and Sharpton became more mainstream, where as West was regulated to Bill Maher a couple of times a year.

I stopped respecting it, because you could tell it was personal.

Didn't know all that went down :smh:

Edit: 2/3 the way through and this dr hill interview is [emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji]

So another BS Juan Epstein

I look forward to Joe's podcast more than that these days

Hill knows why calling him Chris Bosh is a shot. He could have said D-Wade.

It was like he was saying Big Boi was James Worthy or Rodman, which isn't bad

But it's the other stuff attached to the Chris Bosh name, like all those memes and gifs

That chick on Joe's podcast is delusional with the regular guy debate. This is exactly what's wrong with
some these internet age year 2000 women. I also blame the dudes for gassin these regular women
up, you would think she has a number 1 album dropping next week.

She's the exact type of women you want to avoid like the plague, 100% groupie that enjoys the attention
of being around a famous person. :x Pathetic!
