OFFICIAL 2014 MIAMI DOLPHINS SEASON THREAD (8-8) : MAYBE NEXT YEAR SMH

So teams do not like going to London to play? Srs question.

Aside from the long flight I don't get why teams wouldn't jump on an opportunity to go there.

They are damn fools if they do.

Let's face it, we all see NE and Denver still atop the AFC right now. Well, in a year or two, Brady and Peyton are gone, you have to strike then with a full team.

At that point, Tannehill is 28-29, got all these youthful mistakes out of the way, we can build an Oline, run game, weapons, solid defense, special teams, and then try to make a run when the 2 all time QB's are out of the way.

That's how they have to approach building this team. It's easy to see, and understand.

All these ******* idiots that want instant results from a 2nd year QB, or replace a 3rd year QB with Matt Moore are braindead clowns.

Build the team right, not for the moment.

People want to win now because the 2 QB's you named "at the top" haven't won a ring in how long? Last 3 winners are Eli, Jumpball Joe, and Russ.

those two guys (brady in particular) are usually in the AFC champ game though...keeping you guys out of it

Save your breath DSA, trying to explain things to him is like talking to a donkey. He'll never get it.

[COLOR=#red]Mine just came in, did anyone get last year's version? Been looking everywhere, can't find it though sadly. If anyone knows where or has a large for sale let me know. Either way I always like the November line.

AFC is pretty good this year. Jets, Jags and Raiders are giving away games. No room for error, especially against Buffalo.

Jarvis Landry with his 2nd career NFL TD. Yes, I'm amped. He's going to be a 1,000-yard receiver for the Dolphins by year 3.

Matt Miller has us drafting at 19, and taking Todd Gurley. :nerd:

Tannehill
Gurley-Miller
Wallace-Landry
Clay
Improved Oline

:pimp:

(Long, long ways to go, and I don't really believe they would take Gurley, but he would fix a ton of things....)

I would be too juiced for Gurley... believe they need to go Corner though. Oldest position I believe the Dolphins have.

No more Ducks, and Peters getting kicked out likely means we won't take the chance.

But yes, CB is my guess, because like I've been saying.......

2012 QB
2013 DE
2014 OT
2015 CB

The 4 premium positions in the NFL. Miami following a blue print of sorts.

Peters is likely going to fall into R2, similar to Janoris Jenkins' draft situation.

I mean, I guess Miami could take P.J.

I mentioned PJ a couple weeks ago. Still need to see more tape.

And yes you have been saying as much CP.

Fairly bein out hurts them, we can double Suh, but that don't mean we stop him either.

Calvin back scares me, of course, but at the same time, we've done alright with every other WR we've faced outside of Rodgers crew.

Stafford makes mistakes, if we can get 1-2 from him, that will help.

They are rested, off a bye, at home, so that's concerning, but we have a pretty good amount of momentum going, if Miller can play, effectively, we should be alright.

As of now, I'm leaning close game, Detroit wins cuz of home, and bye, but I won't be stunned if we pull it out off of a Stafford mistake or two.

I've kept it real all season with my predictions. I'm seeing a Lions victory this weekend, to the tune of 20-17. On the strength of their defense and the way Austin has dialed up defensive calls. It's crazy that Stafford has transformed from a gunslinger to game manager in 2014, and the shocking part, it's working for Detroit.

Make the damn play, Wallace:

When your QB evades a free rusher in pocket and has to throw ball back across field while running into flat with another defender arriving..

Cian O'Fathaigh @Cianaf · 1h 1 hour ago
..you can't expect a perfect throw. Win at the catch point for once.

Cian O'Fathaigh @Cianaf · 1h 1 hour ago
This is really good to watch and it just highlights how poor his supporting cast has been throughout his career so far.

Mike Wallace with another one-handed catch attempt when he could have used two. Ugh.

Cian O'Fathaigh @Cianaf · 2h 2 hours ago
Charles Clay + Jarvis Landry >>>> Brian Hartline + Mike Wallace.

Tannehill is playing slightly faster now, but it's not a major change. Biggest change is supporting cast being better.

Oh, look at that, improve the players around your QB, your QB gets better. Imagine that.

But no, let's waste more draft picks for more QB's, or use Matt Moore. Don't worry about upgrading the pieces around whatever QB you already have.

******* morons. :smh:

makes sense, C CP1708 and champcruthik champcruthik . agree with most of that. i need to make up ground on the leader in the pool so i'm going to go with MIA and assume they ride this wave they're on. i know the leader is taking DET.

You're leading the NT pool by 3 points. You mean a different (work) one?

Time for Grimes to earn his money this weekend. He's been a top-5 CB this season.
