NFL WEEK 17 IN REVIEW...

I'm also concerned about Matty. I like him a lot more than most QB's in the league. Rocket arm, can make every throw, heart, gutsy.

But it means nothing without playoff appearances and wins.

When dude fried Cleveland with a gimp leg Calvin I thought this was it, he had arrived. I was so wrong.

What's even more scary is the last 6 or 7 games have been the worst he's ever been, even rookie year included. Dude didn't want the team meeting after Reggie said we needed one. Dude said he doesn't need a QB guru because it isn't his style.

A listened to an interview with a former Lions player and he said the coaching staff never holds Stafford accountable. Dude gave this interview when the Lions were 6-4 and every thing was looking good this year.

Next OC or coach has to be a no nonsense QB guy.
 
His footwork and mechanics are awful. He should never go over Bortles, Manziel, McCarron.

I even like Garopollo for value over Carr.

And the lions biggest problems are;

Lack of number 2 WR
The teams coach / isn't disciplined
And stafford tends to get wild / lazy with his side arm throw / mechanics

What is he 6'2 200 lbs max?

Unless they're a clear shot nfl prospect (Luck) ain't no way I'm touching a QB that early.

You could probably find his equal in the second or third.

No you can't find his equal in the 2nd or 3rd
Has rare combination of a big accurate arm, with great mobility, can already read defenses and a pro style offense
He's 6'3 and can always add on weight see Tom Brady
Stafford is 6'3
Aaron Rodgers 6'2
Brees, Russ are short

Its clear you don't know what your talking about

Just my opinion but a good QB is hard to find. And out of the QB's named only one was taken #1 and his season is over, so go ahead and take that chance with your franchise.
 
And having the number 1 pick is fools gold. I'd trade down for more picks 9/10.

Especially if Teddy is number 1

Just my opinion but a good QB is hard to find. And out of the QB's named only one was taken #1 and his season is over, so go ahead and take that chance with your franchise.

You looked at height and weight and formed an opinion on a qb that's just dumb. The Texans are a competent qb away from being in back the playoffs, sure you can draft Clowney and pick top 5 again next year or you can take a chance on a Franchise level qb who can have you in playoffs for the next 10 years.

Size is just something I look at with QB's. I'm not saying he won't be good but I just wouldn't take any QB coming out #1 overall.
