>Official Air Jordan 2014 Release Dates

hahaha worddddd...if they would have used varsity red instead of infrared on those 3LAB5's i might have tried to cop

In my opinion, true infrared (the color used on the Infrared 3LAB5's and this year's retro 6 doesn't look bad paired with a black based shoe. That's why I love my Infrared 3LAB5 (I would have preferred Varsity Red if I had to choose) and if there is a Black/Infrared Retro 6 I'll try to cop. True Infrared is a nice diversity once in a while, but I will admit that I'd take Varsity Red before Infrared any day of the year.

yeah i dig that...i just feel like they went over board with the infrared they used for the white 6's they dropped recently...too bright is too much for me

I can see where you're coming from, but everyone said that's actually the correct shade or the closest shade to the original infrared used on the original pair. Everyone for the most part wanted the truest version of the shoe's being retroed so I guess we can't complain, we just have to wait for the varsity red retro 6 to release again.

Apologies, I'm new to the Jordan game. I did mean the Black/Infrared VI's. So what is the difference between the Bred and Black/Infrared?

The term "Bred" is typically and should only be used for Chicago Bulls/Miami Heat themed colorways, but since we're talking about Jordan's and I'm a Bulls fan we'll just keep it at Chicago Bulls themed colorways that are only black combined with a true shade of red as it's accent colors. True Infrared like this years shade being used is completely different than the color red even though Infrared ends with red. Since you're new to Jordan's I'll post some images of what people typically call a "Bred" Jordan shoe.

I'm sure you get the point now, after seeing some Black/Infrared VI's I can see why they would be considered "Bred" but if there is a Black/Infrared release this year I guess we will really see if they should still be confused as a Bred Jordan shoe or if it should strictly be limited to it's Black/Varsity Red counterpart. I hope this helped clear up some confusion.

hmm thats funny. bc I call most of those colorways by their color. I call the 4s black cement. I call the 11s playoffs. nd I call those 12s Flu games. nbd

Isn't the 3M material originally black? That's why I put it in the "Bred" category to differentiate between the black and red "Bred" versus people calling black and infrared shoe's "Bred" as well.

I'm sure most of us call the shoe's by their name, but the guy I responded to was wondering why we consider the Bred 1's or Bred 4's as "Bred" but not shoe's that are black and infrared, so I tried giving him some examples as to what the difference is.
