Reebok are failing me this time around, not something too often with them...

I'd send that pair back and buy one in store so you can look at it. My pair had 0 visible defects and the box was flawless. They must've stacked several pairs on top of your pair and the box was crushed as a result.

I dunno brother, I find that they re-retro shoes far too frequently these days. You could make the argument for quality but I am pressed for space as newer homes are getting smaller and smaller (while prices go higher and higher). Hence I go with 'one and done'.

Red ones 8 August from what I've seen. That's the next date for Blacktop releases, including the new model, the Blacktop Retaliate. And I will thank Reebok in advance for making it unattractive so that I can keep my focus on classics!

Went to the Reebok Outlet this past Saturday (Cypress Premium Outlets near Houston) and saw the black and white pairs of Black Tops up for sale, retail price. a couple of full size runs at least. I'd imagine other colors will be available as they drop.

Dude, the shoe just dropped last week. Unless you are a Reebok employee or you have a pre-existing coupon/discount at a brick-and-mortar or online store you are not getting them under retail.
If you can wait it out for a month then I'm sure you'll be able to get about 10% off at the minimum.
With eBay/PayPal fees, sellers online typically tend to mark up their product - unless they scored it for dirt cheap and are reselling.

Picked up my Boulevards yesterday from Villa in Philly. And some Blacktop shorts (they have shirts & shorts - not fantastic, but nice to see Reebok doing something when it comes to apparel in the Classic range).
Pics to come when I'm back in LA with the Battlegrounds as well. Looking like excess baggage to go back to Australia!
