First off let me just say HAPPY NEW YEAR TO S&T!!!! In this thread post 5 predictions that you have for the sports world in the year of 2014.


1. Julius Randle will go #1 in the 2014 NBA Draft

2. AJ McCarron will be the best QB in the 2014 NFL draft when it's all said and done.

3. The 2014 NBA free agency will be a huge letdown. (and no this isn't me praying for "the return" .. I honestly just don't see any of them leaving)

4. The Golden State Warriors will play in the NBA Finals.

5. Spain will lose in the Round of 16 in the World Cup.

1. Schoolboy Q's new album gonna flop

2. ******** will hire Art Briles as the new head coach

3. Jabari Parker will go on a year long Mormon mission before heading to the NBA

4. Chiefs will win the SB

5. Dr. Dre will finally release Detox

Edit: 6. The football team in DC will change their name, as it is considered an offensive term...

1) Belgium wins the World Cup.

2) Thunder/Pacers in the Finals.

3) Colts in the SB because of Luck and Mathis. Against winner of SF/GB.

4) Wichita, Oregon, Florida, or ISU win the NC.

5) Clarkson, Semaj, and LaVine end up as top-5 players in the class. Not selections, but with their play.
 
1. lakers will get a top 10 draft pick

2. rose will be back by training camp

3. miami wont get to the finals

4. eagles get to the SB (you did say bold predictions..)

5. DBD comes back but only lasts 4 hours
 
1. Carolina Panthers win the Super Bowl

2. Lebron James signs with the Knicks/ Melo signs with lakers.

3. OKC wins NBA championship. Durant averages 35 ppg in playoffs.

4. The New York Yankees win the World Series

5. Star athlete will come out as gay

I would love this more then anything but not going to happen I don't think
 
1) Germany will win the World Cup

2) Miami Heat will win the NBA Title again, Will beat the Spurs again in the Finals

3) Melo will leave NY

4) Lebron stays in Miami

5) Liverpool will be in the Top 4 in the EPL
 
I was just thinking about making this thread after i saw Mark May's "bold" prediction that the 4 team playoff will be a success and 2 SEC teams will make it.

2. Miami Hurricanes win a National Championship

3. Lakers win the NBA Championship

4. Dolphins win the Super Bowl (201*****15)

5. Some random country with a low seed wins the World Cup.
 
1) 49ers-Colts Super Bowl- Andrew Luck faces his college coach.

2) Indiana beats Miami in the playoffs and makes it into the NBA Finals.

3) LeBron stays put with Miami.

4) With #1, that means that Peyton Manning chokes again in the playoffs. Everyone thinks Denver's going to win it all, but I just don't see it happening.

5) Carmelo becomes a Laker
