Why do they have the blue stripe go all the way up to the white stripes on that Bayern kit? Looks off

Im saying that **** looks awful. Has Bayern ever had a kit like that in the past or are they going the Barca route
 
^ look at the bayern crest. those are very much club colors, and yes they have worn that pattern before. look for the mid-90s opel sponsored kits. i actually like the kit a lot because of my memories of that old kit from watching football as a kid, but as per my last post in this thread, i'm going to really try and resist copping anything that ain't arsenal or tfc from here on out.
 
From my understanding, German teams don't give a **** about changing up there home jerseys. They change them like regular teams change away's. Bayerns had so many different designs and templates. One season they're all red and solid, next season they have stripes, etc. Not as traditional as the rest of the world when it comes to a home kit.

They've worn that red/blue stride kit before from what I've read.

In the 2000's, Bayern has gone mostly red or all red on their home shirts but the 90's (as well as decades prior to the 90's) several iterations had blue being used in the home shirt in combination with red.

If the posted shirt is the actual shirt, it resembles the 95-96 shirt sans collar.

Can anyone help me with fitting on Nike US replica vs authentic?

If I am normally a size large in replica would going up to an XL in the authentic make it fit similarly and not as tight? I want to get an authentic but want to avoid the skin tight compression look.

usually its good to go up one size for authentics, my neymar santos authentic in a M fits how my replica nike S does.

I like the Bayern shirt also, if it's in fact what the shirt will be. Here's the rumored 3rd shirt. I'll try to get my son the Thiago shirt in the black one if it's indeed what the shirt will look like.

Just read real madrid's 3rd kit will be designed by Japanese artist guy from Adidas, forgot the damn name. But he's known for making mind-blowing art. looking forward to it because having a pink away kit is just :x

A welcome change from the usual red and white. Would be interested in a burgundy kit sometime soon too like they had in 2007 I think?
