what model is it? i used this model in the past...

http://www.baseballexpress.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=16839

and it was unfinished.   I prefer the handle unfinished and generally use fine grit sand paper to rough up the handle if it is.

the model you are showing looks to be ash.
It is mike trouts game model and bat... i am looking into customizing one but i wanna know what color handle his is? so its unfinished?

not sure if i agree with this statement.  most nike shoes are not manufactured by nike as the process of building the shoe is outsourced to cheaper labor. so if these  manufactures are making the same shoe as what is being shipped to nike,  then how does the quality differ?  i understand it doesnt have the same stamp of approval (QA) that nike offers.. but when they are using the exact same material it has to make you think about what we are really paying for.
I agree completely. Its fairly well known that nike outsources shoe production for cheaper labor, and yet every time a new Jordan Retro drops, or every year when the new models of shoes comes out, the prices are sky high. So really, whats so bad about the "fakes"?

I couldn't agree more, better yet the word "fakes " could be thrown out as a term. When a retro is done and there has been tons so far. For you young guys here who were not born when the original shoe was released, the retro is a cheap copy of the original. Us older guys you know what I mean. The price doubles but the quality suffers. So in a indirect way Nike does "fakes" and we get suckered thinking its a quality shoe because it's a shoe we loved when we first had it. Now for the guy out there who makes a shoe and customs it into a turf shoe and makes it well and models it as best he can, kuddos to him. At least he's trying to provide something we all want. I still don't endorse it but I wouldn't condemn it either. This is a debate that can last forever but I'm glad everyone here has respect for everyone's opinion, right or wrong.

I understand your main points, but that is some very questionable logic.

Retros are not fakes, they are retros haha

The point is, you're not buying an authentic Nike product. You're supporting illegal criminal activity when you buy fakes.

Is wearing fake Nike NFL jerseys cool with y'all too?

But let's not derail the thread.

From a certain point of view, a retro is a fake or copy of its original item.
Now wearing fake NFL gear or MLB, am I cool with it? in my opinion if it looks badly made I might say something but what if that person can't afford the real thing ? I can't pass judgment. Do you have anything that is not original and wear it? I do, but does your mom, wife, or GF ever buy a knock off? You say it might contribute to illegal activities? be careful my friend, if you haven't downloaded a song or torrent a movie don't cast the first stone.
You see like I said its a debate that can go on forever without resolve. So to quote you "don't derail" agreed and stick with what this topic is about.

You should consult a dictionary for the meaning of fake, retro, and copy for future arguments lol

So you do download torrents and music...no debate there huh?

I think you needs to chill and just move on, we know where you stand against fakes and hope you will put an end to the black market once and for all

I'm pretty sure they sell his exact game model with out you having to guess the color scheme

My opinion on "fakes" such as these is this: If you are looking for an item that Nike wouldn't/doesn't offer, go for it.

Agree, summed up perfectly.

Now, on to the thread.

Any word yet on newer undershirts from Nike? I know the latest Eastbay Baseball special has tons of new brands showing pretty decent stuff. Like Adidas, Eastbay themselves, UA.

Chezz, all I've sen from Nike lately is updated versions of the hypercool and a new-ish three-quarter. There are some cool colors of the new raglan though. One thing I have wanted to look at lately is the UA Spine undershirt, it looks kinda cool. Only concern is that there's a little bit of graphic on the sleeves, not sure if I'll be allowed to pitch with it. May end up as a three-quarter.

Will there be a new Vapor metal cleat this year?

IF YOU BUY FAKES OR WEAR FAKES YIU SUPPORT THE FAKE INDUSTRY. SHAME ON YOU.

any one have a different colors in the nike compression wristbands or does anyone have the longer nike compression sleeves like this one

I've got 2 white and 2 red compression sleeves that I've never even worn. I'm def willing to let them go, just have to find them first lol

I just picked up a pair of the UA Highlights from DSG for 56 Shipped. Not bad for last years model. I will post some pics once I receive them.

Last year I picked up a Evo Shield 3/4's performance undershirt that I really like the feel of. I also got the Swingman 3/4 shirt from DSG that is not as nice as the evo. The Swingman is really stiff and just a weird feeling. That NB shirt looks pretty nice I wonder how it feels?
