That'd be interesting, going up against the last ever Cinco de Mayweather

No way they'd put that Cotto vs Canelo fight on the same weekend as Mayweather, Mayweather always fights that same weekend, don't see him changing that, Cotto/Canelo is a headline fight not an undercard one.
Both camps would be leaving stupid money on the table trying to split that ticket, don't see it happening.

After Danny's last fight (which I thought there was no doubt he lost) he needs a tune up.

I give him a pass on this fight but his next has to be legit competition.

Nothing. Bradley ain't destroying ****, he might even get stopped. He's more than likely not hurting Cotto, and nobody here can name anybody not named Manny Pacquiao that outboxed Cotto below 147 lbs. Bradley is a solid fighter but him "destroying" Cotto is extra. It would definitely be an interesting fight.

Before the fight Not many people thought Cotto had a chance against Sergio from the objective point of view. Why though?
Because it's easy to outbox Cotto.
If you can take away Cottos hook by staying mobile he will punch himself out early if You can just touch him a few times here and there and keep it moving.Cottos got KO power but Bradley's got a chin. Cotto won't look so great when a fighter that can actually move away from him is in the ring with him. Bradley will be looking to make a statement after his loss. I love Cotto and would love to see him keep winning, but taking this fight is going to get Cotto another L

Styles makes fights and this is why I think Canelo will lose with Lara. Yes Lara had problems with angulo but that's because angulo is coming straight fwd and going to the body relentless pressure. This is the style that causes problems for Lara. Canelo looked great against angulo because he looks great with straight fwd fighters like that. Canelo does not do good with boxers the way he looked with mayweather because he is not a pressure fighter he wants to box. We will see July 12 though.

The question is will Lara receive a raw deal on a close decision. Remember C.J. Ross scored Canelo 114-114 in the PBF fight, even with a horrible track record. Even if Lara wins 5 to 7 rounds with technical ability, defense, and counter-punching...is it enough to derail the Canelo hype train? Canelo sells, Lara doesn't. Fair or not. It's a factor.
