If Lara doesn't knock Canelo out he's going to have issues getting the decision no matter how the fight went. Lara better knock him out.

Yeah, I know the controversy. Judges suspended, etc. I would guess most of us scored the fight for Lara by a couple points. Unless you had a wider margin.

a-friend: I was also referencing the Pun fight because hopefully we don't get a similarly controversial decision, which most of us fear. Another robbery or unjust ruling.

I don't recall even scoring it TBH. I just remember being so embarrassed as a fan and so upset at the decision. We discussed this a few pages back, I think "bad decisions" I think Paul/Lara instantly.
Just thought it was shocking when you said "it could have been scored either way IMO"

Lara gets too much credit for beating Trout. Main reason he did so well was because Trout couldn't hurt him. When Canelo hits Lara's body he's going to be in retreat.

Canelo isn't, he's better than people realize. It's just hard to see since he seemingly gets everything served to him on a silver platter. Same goes for Chavez Jr.

I want to see Mares bounce back nicely against Oquendo. His opponent has been KO'ed twice and I'd like to see Mares drop him late in the 8th or 9th rounds. 11-month layoff to recover from the Jhonny loss.
