Spoke to @AdrienBroner about @ChinoMaidana rematch. He wants rematch badly. 'My mind is set on war,' he said. Story up soon. #boxing

Adrien Broner is going to fight Marcos Maidana in a rematch to be held in April.

Kinda thought Broner should go to 140 then later get the rematch.
I said months before the fight I was curious how AB would take MM's power because AB is there to be hit, call me crazy but I think he will do better in a rematch. I think he pot shots and stays on the outside the entire fight. For a guy that was hurt very early in the fight he showed heart by still fighting.I don't think he will win but I think it will be closer. I may have eat these words but I just cant see him being continually caught with those wide looping shots.

If Broner wants a war hes getting ko.d again. Broner needs to use a jab and lateral ,movememt not just move backwards. Good thing is that it will likely be on regular showtime.

no way am I paying ppv money for Khan vs Floyd.

If Broner somehow pulls off the victory fair and square, how will the perception of him change?
I don't see the perception of him changing unless he can win convincingly.  If he can beat Maidana convincingly then his next fight may be on PPV with a bigger name.

It'll show he has the gusto to train hard enough to win against a guy like Maidana, but it is all dependent on HOW he wins. He's wanted to be a Floyd Mayweather, but based off his last performance, he'll never be that.

I'd like to see him thoroughly outbox Maidana, but I don't know if we will see that.

As much as I would want broner to lose that rematch I have a feeling hed win if it happens

Considering how bad Broner's defense was and how much trouble he had hurting Maidana, I don't see him fairing much better.

If broner is smart, he can just use his legs and stay on the outside and outbox maidana.
No need to stand in the pocket, just stay on the outside and outbox him. But yea easier said than done

Let me preface this by saying I'm not a Broner fan,but I watched the fight a couple of times and during the middle rounds after the first knock down and before the secone there were moments he did some solid work. I dont think MM was hurt but I do think when Broner was coming forward and stepping around he got his attention.

of course he was gonna land a few punches but he did terribly. That fight was the definition of an *** whooping and showed ABs weaknesses. He needs to hit the gym strong in order to have a chance in this potential rematch

Maidana has gotten much better as a boxer since teaming with Robert Garcia. He's actually developed a decent jab and I thought he did very well in cutting off the ring against Broner. I just don't see Broner winning a rematch fair and square.
