^no boxer is going to get a fair split if he's fighting Floyd. now he's got the attitude of whatever lets make the fight happen but you turned down 40 ms?? Floyd himself only brought in 41 on his last ppv.

Pacquiao ****** himself over he should've took 40 million when he had the chance.

Why? He wasn't getting a fair split when that number came out. If you're a dude making millions, you're the second biggest PPV star, you're still in your prime and you just won your 8th world title are you going to take a flat rate of a PPV instead of working out a percentage?

-Manny was right in asking for 50/50 at first. But he should have used it has a jumping off point to get a better deal than $40 million.

At the end of the game he was being offered the biggest check of his life and thought he was going to win the fight, that alone keeps you at the negotiating table. But he walked away thinking he was bigger than that.

-Manny dead wrong for asking for 40 million now.

Floyd managed his career and business better, giving Manny $40 million now would be a bad business move right now. And Manny can't pull the "lets make it happen" card now that he's ****** and not expect people to see right through it.

canelo and angulo gonna be on ppv ?

Dan Rafael just reported it will be on PPV. Apparently, Schaefer said most of the success between Mayweather/Alvarez was due to Alvarez's popularity, so he thinks Alvarez/Angulo will do good numbers.

Man, talk about an underwhelming start for Canelo to start headlining PPVs.

I mean, I don't doubt it'll be an entertaining fight, but he's really the guy you open up your PPV career against?

I'm guessing Cotto wanted no parts of that fight?

I mean maybe he's still targeting Sergio, but I would think Canelo+Cotto makes more money than Sergio+Cotto would.

Then again, maybe Angel is tied to HBO? Maybe his contract isn’t up yet? Either that, or he sees opportunity in fighting both Sergio and maybe GGG. I can’t see it being Canelo who wouldn’t want to face Cotto, but you never know.

if mac would of fought canelo first, he would get washed and that sergio paycheck would be gone.

fight serio first and then canelo and call it a career?

As long as Golden Boy puts on decent undercards and not his ******g brother.

lmaooo you wanted it, you got it

santa cruz :pimp:

 LSC & Mijares make up for it a bit. Still a really lackluster card though :smh:

My whole point was that getting a flat $40mm made no sense for Manny. He had earned 50/50 and that PPV would have made both of them more than $40mm at a split rate. That was it  of course he doesn't deserve that now, I wasn't debating that.

He wants to be the first Puerto Rican to win a belt 4 or 5 weight classes

Only reason Cotto went after Martinez and not Canelo. I think he'll fight Canelo on the November 22nd date if he doesn't get demolished by Sergio. I don't think we can ever say there was a time Cotto was afraid to fight anyone

Freddie Roach with some interesting information on Manny.... Is he telling on his own fighter?
"I know he has a new strength coach and I don't get along with the guy, and one of the reasons why he doesn't work for me anymore is because I think he's a little shady, you know. He used to give Manny a drink every day before we worked out and I asked him, 'What's in that drink,' and he would never tell me. And I said, 'I need to know what's in that drink because, you know, you're giving it to my fighter and if something goes wrong, I'm gonna get the blame."

Cotto is a free agent. He can fight on both networks because he doesn't have any promotional ties. My guess is that he'll fight Sergio first and then fight Canelo. I think he will take less punishment vs. Sergio than vs. Canelo. I don't see Cotto winning either of those bouts.

Adrien Broner is going to fight Marcos Maidana in a rematch to be held in April.

Kinda thought Broner should go to 140 then later get the rematch.

he doesnt deserve a rematch any more then paulie deserved one against him. He got an *** whoopin . Still would like to see that fight

Saw it on Dan Rafael 's Twitter said venue is stubhub in CA or again in Texas either 4/19 or 4/26

I'll give him credit for wanting to step into the ring with Marcos again. He just doesn't have the pop at 147 to keep him off of him. He'd have to run the entire fight and pop him with a jab all night to keep him off.

I'm with you Fresh, I thought he'd go back to 140 and try and do some damage there.

So I guess it's PBF/Khan then :x :smh:
