Mainly frequent SM (Main St or Makai) and Downtown Culver (usually Rush) bc of proximity. Plenty of good spots in dtla too

I live in ktown, so I tend to hang out around here to DTLA. Also some Echo Park & Silverlake sprinkled in.

I like Lock & Key, great music with good talent. The Ice Cream day party in Sunday is lit but it does get way too crowded for that small area.

If you like asians, the Line Hotel on Fri & Sat is always packed and plays good music. They have a bar upstairs in the Commissary restaurant. Really, the Line Hotel has given ktown a face lift as 'cool' places to eat & hang out.

Honeycut & Association are a couple other places that aren't bad. I'm more into the lounge/bar scene that plays good music rather than clubs tho
 
She left to the Philippines today, it hurts fam. She told me she'll wait for me, I'm willing to wait for her... Looking to stack my bread & see her in the coming months. Haven't felt this strong for a female in a long time.

Short and cute is as far as I'm getting into, back side is handy :pimp: But in all seriousness we're staying in contact, she gave me a cross last night & I wrote her a personal letter. Mementos for when we're feeling down and need a reminder of each other. This girl is wife material, I told everyone I'd make it official if she was to stay here in america. She's going to try and get an internship with a travel agency once she gets her degree after going back to the Philippines, work visa then a green card she said if she's able to do it all soon.

Worked with a chick last year. She got fired. Got her num from her friend that still works with me on sum "so-and-so says hi" type stuff. Reconnected couple weeks ago and been kicking it on the weekends.

Heres the deal.. When she worked with me she had a dude. He fumbled it and supposedly didnt wanna be committed or whatever.. Bottom line it got broke off after like 3 months. But hes a ****in LINGERER maaan. Word to dave franco. Hes her friend and i guess does her tattoos (which he was slackng on until he heard i came in the picture). She indicates to me that she would cut him off if it came to it but i feel some type of way.. Like they need to run the course.

Typically i wouldnt entertain it but our chemistry is pretty crazy. Chick is a D+. Flat C after personality and is actively working out and could reach B+ status pending weight loss and braces off.

Worth the wait ?or staight biz markie dont mess with a girl with a friend.?

I got caught up at work...
ANYWAY, I asked for advice on the lingering dude and yall just key in on her being a D+...
On my scale physical scale she barely passing aka (D+) but she still passes. Y'all scale is skewed if a D+ is not passing guys. 

She didn't go to a B+ but I think she could get there eventually since she is working out often.

I cant really tell how ol' boy became so buddy buddy after 4 months but i for one dont believe in that male bestie BS.

Unless the body is crazy wack, a D+ seems rather harsh just going by the face alone. She's actually kinda cute.

If he's using a scale out of 100 then a D+ isn't that harsh. It's just below a 7.

Just not many use a letter grade scale so a D+ sounds hella harsh :lol:

she's from the Philippines, basically she came to America to finish the requirement to receive her Bachelors for tourism. It's a three month program at my previous job for international students from the Philippines. So she did it, we met, started talking and just feelings became mutual and developed quickly. She opened my eyes with how different our cultures are, exposed me to a whole different type of people. Last time she had any feelings for a guy was three years ago, he did her dirty and she hadn't focused on any guy since then according to her. It's tough for me to believe females nowadays, but with her I felt like she was genuinely honest and has no reason to lie to me. I've noticed Filipinas are conservative, at least the ones I met, extremely religious, like to hang out but definitely not about that Wildin out life like the females here in America. But back on topic, she has to go back to receive her degree and report back to the school. Afterwards she could try and get a job in Virginia beach, or get an internship for a full year with the agency that she started the three month program with to get a work visa. Then she could possibly apply for a green card. She told me she didn't imagine it'd be this hard to go back home, and that she even discussed to her sister that I was a major reason as to why she wanted to stay here in America. It's tough, we both knew what we were getting into with the feelings caught up, but we didn't expect it to have this big of an impact on each other.

lol I wouldn't give her a D+ but you're right NT does give all AWG no less than 7 .


anyway. I think she pretty much said, once you put in full time work with her, she will defintely have a talk with dude.

I think if you're keeping her as the side chick then she will keep him as the side dude..

so with that said I guess the more you hang with her and tell her to dead dude she more than likely will. Just be firm about it. Dude obviously wants her back but there is nothing you yourself can do about him unless you approach him (don't need to go that far ) let her take care of it and if it doesn't then dead it.

I've been in your position, (I was in asia and coming back to america)
it will be extremely hard for her to get that green card here. it cost a lot of money for a company to do that... only other way in permanetly is by marriage or she gets a F1 visa (I think that's it) which is school visa where she has to go to a school to keep her status here.
Have you ever considered working overseas? it will be easier for you to get a job there than for her to work here. and that way you can wait for therewhile you make some cash. also see if this relationship is worth keeping her here (aka marriage) that's a possiblility

The company I work for actually has call centers located in her city, one is actually in Quezon City. We keep in direct contact with them all the time, but idk if that's a possibility seeing as I'm still in college and trying to get my degree. She told me coming here for the internship was 5 stacks, but she's definitely of the wealthier status in the Philippines (both her parents have worked overseas in Singapore, and her dad just got an offer to work in Europe). I know the culture is extremely family oriented, I told her I'd like the chance to meet her parents over FaceTime if possible to introduce myself personally.

Alright I figured that too, but the plot thickens now...

Ol' girl is a cinderella.. stays with fam. not working yet but doing a short school program. and most crucially, no car.. so i can't confirm nor deny that dude is one of her go to peeps for a ride somewhere. is that even possible for somebody not smashing to be willing to burn expensive gas like that, i dont think i could do it. Plus my work week is crazy for at least 3-6 months. So this thing is almost like a long distance thing til the weekends. Bout to call yo *** a uber, I got somewhere to be. word to Drake 2.0

Met up with DC chick in our hometown last night at a park. She just got done hanging with her friends and I stopped by my grandma's house in the area. Chopped it up for an hour. It was mad awkward. She said it seemed like she was "sneaking around" and that I felt the same way too. I just got done working a 12 hour shift so I was feeling real tired. Didn't look her in the eyes much because I was people watching. We talked about life, etc.. Felt like the chick was analyzing me the whole time though but whatever

Before we left, I told her I wanted to kiss her but then I'd have to deal with her calling me a bad person and shady (joke) She said "No, that would make you a great person actually." I grabbed her chin and pulled her in and gave her a simple peck. She started shaking a little bit and I asked if she was nervous and she said did that nervous laugh and said "yeah a little". We laugh about it and realize it's late and I said "ok, let me walk you to your car". I walk her over to her car and open her door, and we joke a little bit and I tell her to get in. Before she gets in, I pull her in again for a hug and give her another simple kiss on the lips, but this one was a little more aggressive. I took a step back and she still had her eyes closed and was leaning in still trying to go all in with tongue and ****. I told her "that's all you get for now." She kinda laughed and said "oh so you curved me", I said again, "that's all you get for now", and I walked to my car. She turns around and laughs and says "I've never been curved" and I said "That wasn't a curve, unless it never goes any further".


I'm not texting this chick first today..I've texted first every single time we've talked but I feel like I shouldn't this time.
