I was in the same situation a couple of months ago and it was so not worth it. Dead her.

I was chillin with this chick a couple weeks ago and she briefly told me about old boy. In so many words I told her to "move on" or "get over it." Something to that extent...her good friend now talks to her ex and the girl I'm talking to is supposedly ok with it (since her friend brought it to her attention before It got out of hand). But idk if I handled this recent text response correctly.

you should have just changed the subject or say something funny and she'll be like "what?" then you'll say "Oh i thought we was talking about things that don't matter"

If a woman brings up her ex and talks ad nauseam about him, she is not over the situation. It's one thing for her to say"it just didnt work out", or something mature like that but once she starts giving details about the whole situation, tread lightly because 9/10 she is still feeling some type a way about dude. I was sucked into that vortex once and that damaged me for awhile but it was a lesson learned. I saw nothing wrong with that text but if you are pursuing something serious with her, take your time and don't ignore the red flags. Sounds like mad drama, especially if her girlfriend is about that ex life. Women are not the most forgiving in those situations.

this would the be the perfect opportunity to try that friendzone move that fam pulled a pg or 2 back...I tried it out on a chick yesterday and she was pissed lol

Along the lines of a chick bring up her ex...

This chick I'm talkin to at work is feelin me heavy, we're both into each other and I got her wrapped around my finger. She recently broke up with her dude, and their "situation," which is iffy from what I can tell, seems to be the only thing holding us up from smashin. Now, I'm well aware I could just be a interim dude to keep her occupied while she works that at. But, I'm actively avoiding becoming the emotional tampon, so I don't even talk about dud. When we talk and text it's just about work related stuff, personal stuff etc.

This bout to be my first slimmy in my lifetime. I've been smanging gooeys and thick chicks my whole life. I'm definitely exploring other chicks so it ain't killing me, but how can I expidete my smash, or is patience the key here?

Thanks bro. She doesn't talk about him overtly or give details so I think she's good.
It does seem like potential drama with her good friend talking to her ex so I'm gonna tread softly.
