stress messes up that cycle a lot, my chick had the scare too it didnt come one week, she started freaking and then it was a whole other week before it came

2000 rent, you could just move in VA. I stay there and cummute is about the same from silver spring and you always have metro, maybe look in to Alexadria or a little further south like Prince william county. Depends on how big/small you want your place to be. you can live all the way where i live out in fredericksburg and 2000 you can damn near live in a 3 bedroom with all utilities and still save the rest of the money for gas money.

your commute will be a lot longer though.

That's almost a hour commute driving to DC and UMD. Now sure if I want to take that ride during my first year. I plan to party and chill my first year in DC, if I don't go to grad school after graduation. But I'll keep Prince William in mind. Was actually looking into Arlington for apartments to reside at one point. But those three bedrooms does sound nice.
 
Chill, you don't want that ride up 95. But if you got 2k to use, live where you work or in the city, silver spring is ideal.
