Looking to take a trip there with my girl for Valentines weekend this year. Will be the first time out there for both of us. For those fellow NTers that have taken trips out there, any advice on hotels, restaurants, and other must visit spots? Also are there any good websites where we can find deals/promos? Want to make this weekend special for her.

Harrah's, Golden Nugget and Borgata are my favorite. Don't know what your budget is but they are tons restaurants and stores there.

There's a whole in the wall joint "tony baloneys" that is awesome but it's like a cheesesteak/pizza joint. And White House hoagies. The Irish pub down torwards showboat is god for lunch also.
Shopping at the outlets is key, also Atlantic ave has a city blue
Borgota is fun
All the casinos are mostly off pacific ave. (watch out for prostitutes)
I don't know much about high end restaurants and casino deals. I'm sure another NTer does.

You planning on proposing? Your girl will probably be expecting that given the time period and destination of the trip. Good luck bro.

Yea, Harrah's, Golden Nugget, Borgata, Revel are dope.

Going next Saturday hopefully. Gonna check some of the spots posted in this thread and report back.

Revel. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. For a few hours, I even forgot I was in AC.

*AC is a dump, FWIW.

Revel in ac is really nice and relatively new. They have been losing money though, and will comp you on most anything, as well as good rates on rooms. I'd suggest checking them out on your trip. My friend bought in for 300 on the blackjack table and they comp'd him a couple of hundred worth of credit in the casino/hotel as well as free rooms in the future.

P4L when I go in a few months.

I've been before, but I wasn't 21 in those cases.

The problem w/ Revel is that it caters to a certain type of person/gambler. No day-tripper is going to want to spend money there. And those day-trippers are what helps that AC economy. If I remember correctly, Revel is bankrupt. It's a REALLY nice hotel...a bit too nice for AC.

Murmur Mondays, Dusk Tuesdays, Harrah's Pool Wednesdays.

Remember the rotation being like that for my birthday in August.

Best pregame spot is Wild West between Caesars and Bally's. Joint looks like a college bar and sometimes they have beer pong. But the perk is cheap drinks. $1 beers, $2 house tequila shots, $3 Fireball.

Revel is newer with dope pool parties and oceanview but still feels tacky.

Borgata style is the flyest, like the Cosmo in Vegas. And Borgata still has the best clubs & djs.

I've been to AC, but not when I was of age to go out/gamble. Going in a few weeks though with my girl and her friends for one of their birthdays. Probably staying at Revel.

I remember there was this crepe joint across from H&M that was real solid.

Was at Revel last night pretty nice place. Chick was taken out in wheelchair for partying too hard

I'd stay at borgata, restaurants at borgata, harrahs, or trop are good (never ate at revel).

Also consider the knife and fork, you'll have to cab it since its by itself further down the boardwalk, but IMO its the best choice for a really nice, quiet dinner vs being near a loud and smoky casino floor. Great food too, and they have V Day specials when I went

We're looking at Atlantic City as an option for a friend's bachelor party. I went to one there a few years ago and a couple of the strip clubs were lame, any recommendations?

I'd stay at either the Revel or Borgata..both are awesome hotels. I'd take the Revel though because of their beds. I'm staying there at the end of the month for a convention and I can't wait! Like others said, Carmines is pretty good. There is a very good steakhouse in the Revel, American Cut which was amazing but pretty pricy.

If you go on Groupon right now, they have $79 nights for Revel and give you a $25 dining credit, so that's definitely worth it. I think I also saw Harrahs for $59/night on Groupon as well, but I've never stayed there before.

As many stated Harrah's is appropriate for your Age range.

Only nice thing about Revel is Revel HQ and the Beach club (in summer time) other than that that casino is useless and OVERPRICED. They dont even got smoking rooms.

Sucks OP i cant give you none of my Free buffet/hotel room/ 100$ match plays Comps. I would need to be present the day you guys checked in.
