young thug... Barter 6 out.

This sounds like all of Young Thug's work for the real Carter 6. Basically all Lil Wayne had to do was put down his verses and that's it. This album would be a classic by today's standards if all of these were Wayne verses. After listening to the first 3 songs I see why there's a business conflict; someone cut Wayne out of the equation at the last minute. The Barter...

So now cats are calling inexistent albums classic?

Probably the most ridiculous statement I've ever read on here.

Classic by current music standards yes. The album kinda does exist, it's just Young Thug demos/placement tracks instead of Lil Wayne's vocals. Why would there be issues with Wayne/Cash Money if this was really just a random Young Thug mixtape? The reason is originally it wasn't a mixtape, it was supposed to be an album.

This is how it works. Wayne/Baby give the creative control to Thug/London to do C6. All Wayne/Cash Money needs to do is secure features and clear samples. C6 demo is too fire, Baby takes masters and releases it as The Barter mixtape because he can get Thug/London to do 20 more of those tracks for much less than paying Wayne for an album (itune$). Wayne's probably living his life thinking business as usual when he found out he didn't have any material for the C6 months after the agreement.

I mean, can't you hear "Contantly Hating" was supposed to be the C6 Wayne & Baby comeback track for the summer? Can't you hear "Amazing" is a Wayne & Chris Brown placement? "Check" would've had Future and "Can't Tell"/"Never Had It" are his new school down south anthems. Young Thug did his job down to the adlibs and Baby made the move to leave Wayne off his own album basically.

I don't care about the back story. You have an album with production and one artists lyrics. According to you if Wayne spot over the same beats it would be classic. But you have no idea what flows he'd use, what topics he'd rap about, what lyrics he'd use, punchlines, features. Literally everything that people judge an album you don't know, save the production. Yet you called this imaginary album a classic. It's baffling.

Heeyyyyyyy, let's have a good time :pimp:

This, Dome, and Knocked Off are growing on me.

Those numbers are terrible, and at first I was like "Why did this __ release this for sale at this stage in his career?" He's still absolutely in the building stage, and this was supposed to play a big role in helping that.

But when I look at I differently, ANY sales on something you call a mixtape (**** whatever nonsense ol' boy up there was rambling about ) are a plus considering that it's obviously not hard to find music for free in 2015.

It's like what Ferg did for "Trap Lord".

I don't think Wayne is hurt, this ***** is a legend, Thug hasn't had close to the success that he has.

I just think the fact that he ain't ******* with Birdman at all because of bad business and his new protege trying to continuate a series that you started without your blessing.

Wayne has been a douche since post-Carter 2 and has always been convinced he's better than he has ever been since. Dude just mad Barter 6>anything he's put out in years and his daddy recognizes who's more worth investing in at this point.

Again, I'm not a fan of either artist and that's just my unbiased analysis of the situation. Honestly, the only projects I like that Thug are on are The Tour 1 and Barter 6 and Wayne has more work that I like but the current situation is what it is.

But when juvie wasntn******* with them he named his joint 500 degrees and remade the damn song. IDC what y'all say he's hurt. Every show he had in the last few weeks he's thrown shots, u can see the hurt. And I ain't saying like he hurt cuz thug is the flavor of the week but its deeper than that, he jealous thug and birdman area couple now. Son hates seeing birdman kiss thug and not acknowledge his existence anymore and thug diddy bop around all while making better music.

tellin young thug to s my d.....................isnt even throwin shots at thugger though

maybe this is more of a love triangle though with birdman, wayne and yh

its deeper than rap for sure
