Yea but then Thug was eventually going to have to sue him if he ever wanted to get paid.

I always assumed that Birdman got a huge percentage of album sales. Thug's bread and butter mostly been show money. If he kept Bird's percentage of the show money low (i.e. paying the cost of the venue and promo), would he not come out in good shape when the chips are counted and baked in the cookie?

Birdman was his "manager" and he had already signed two 360 deals.
He wasn't going to make any money sticking with him.

Nobody really sells albums. Ceo's are now getting paid heavily off the artist show money. He was signed to 3 people at once before Lyor got him so I just can't see his contract being that fair. Not to mention thugs tours always get cancelled anyway.
No hate though because I really do enjoy thugga as a featured artist on tracks, it's just his full albums or mixtapes just don't cut it. Does anyone know who his A&R is?

If Bird so good why didn't he just save Givenchy for Barter 6 lol
It's hard to tell, Bird definitely would have had fam doing a whole bunch of Rich Gang and other miscellaneous stuff before he could set up his solo work. It's hard to say them having a tour where they were gonna be performing in big arenas too big,not putting out a second tour tape, and when RHQ left RG, things were quiet for a good minute

I agree that bird would've had son on that level but bird about his chips first. He wasn't gonna make all those moves until it was in ink and dried. Down the line we would've eventually been talking about how he should've never signed with bird Cuz he getting ripped off and shelved. Gift and curse ultimately.
