Cats were in another thread denouncing r Kelly's music because they felt like it was all written for teenage girls (which I disagree with). Even tho he's really doing these things in his personal life, the music in no way specifically suggests that it's for teenage girls. My point is, in that situation, it's not "just music", people are offended by their interpretation.

Different group of people, and different scenario I know... But still. I am quite sure that Jeffrey will not be partaking in shooting up an elementary school....but it's troubling to me that people accept/enjoy this subject matter.

I'm big into psychology so that's probably why I'm so interested in this.

There's tons of big's music that I haven't heard for that reason.
That is also bizarre to me how people speak his name with such reverence, sport shirts with his face with a crown on, and a majority of what he spits is detrimental to our community. Like... this is the person people choose to praise?

That **** is weird but I don't care about the clothes. My favorite artist of all time wore women's clothes and my favorite living artist used to wear dresses and wigs and all kinds of crazy ****.

Exactly.

You can't expect a truly creative artist to be normal or else they wouldn't make any exceptional work.

Thug is who he is and is obviously comfortable in his skin.

I actually appreciate the fact that he ***** on the faux masculinity and homophobia of Hip Hop while still making phenomenal music.
