It's clear by the artists Meek alluded to that he likes street music. Cole nor Kendrick brings street music. Thug may be "different" but his beats bang and he has street lyrics in there

this is his best project since DC1... but the more I think about it, that really isn't saying much..

I woulda' thought Kendricks and Cole music is relatable to Meeks cause they all have a conscious hood side to all of them.
 
Meek is a street dude he would find Cole & Kendrick boring so he listen to all that hype trash but everyone has their own preferences. Crazy thing is I know the hood mess with Cole & Kendrick heavy .
