I find the Kendrick disses to Drake kinda messed up.

  • Drake took Kendrick on tour.
  • Gave him a song on Take Care before mainstream America knew who he was. (K. Dot killed that interlude)
  • Drake helped push Kendrick's success with a feature that was heavy on radio.

Those opportunities don't happen for everybody. IMO I'd be more grateful.
 
The reason it's different this time is because Meek outright said Drakes name, while everyone else did subs and when they were confronted about it they said they weren't talking about him.

Everyone knows Kendrick and management are opportunist

He didn't need Drake anymore, so he was free game.

He did it for attention, why folk kept pushing "nah, K.Dot bout that real hip hop competition" angle never made sense to me.

Fam I've always been lost with that.

Drake looked out for Kendrick in a major way. K. Dot has thrown a couple slight jabs at Drizzy but for what.

I'm not saying he owes Drizzy his career or anything but the least he could do is talk to homie before shooting these weak *** subs.

I don't think anyone is disagreeing with this. Drake is doing exactly what he's supposed to do and winning at it.

My comment was for the guy who said Kendrick didn't send shots. I simply just pointed out that he did indeed send shots.

What subs did DOt shoot tho?
Everything was cool, then did the Control thing.
Drake caught feelings and was acting tough.
Then things got how they are.
I doubt there was anythign before that.

IT was all over control.
Most mentionned aint sweat it. Drake felt some type of way

Meek went at him on some you don't deserve to be getting paid **** ... you a fraud

Kendrick didn't call him a fake, to my recollection, just said he was better than him and welcomed the challenge

and Pusha DENIED that the song was directed at anyone.... so, why even give that song any credit
