Just based on the collective silence of rap artists, I think ghost writing is way more common than we want to believe. Fred the Godson is one of my favorite rappers but his songs are so underwhelming ...same with Slaughterhouse ... Crooked I, in particular, makes the worst songs ever but that boy got flow

Slaughterhouse can and have made good complete songs. Never heard enough solo Crooked I to judge. Good looks on the Horseshoe Gang mention. Love their stuff over other people's beats, but haven't heard enough original stuff. I think Fred Da Godson is such a chore to listen too it's like you can tell he's very skilled, but it doesn't really come across like that when you listen to his songs.
