I would be like damn that's wild but I would assume that's just how he's rocking wholetime and cash in on my hit. I'd rather have a ghostwritten Drake verse that gets me a hit than a wack Drake verse that he wrote.

I wouldn't be mad over that, but I would be mad at people saying he was better than me, knowing he had a ghostwriter.

Pretty much :lol: The way I see it, it's expected for an r&b artist to have collaborative efforts to produce something. I don't think twice about Michael Jackson being in the studio with maybe 4-5 other people and coming up with something. When to hit certain keys as far as high notes and other related things. It just takes way more to be a good/great singer than it does to be a good/great rapper. If you're a rapper and there's 8 people surrounding you to create something, I personally think that's pretty lame (totally different than what Wu-Tang described, or what Rocafella did during their peak....well, minus Jay taking Young Chris' identity). It also doesn't help that rap/hip hop fans have come accustomed to mediocre rappers, which is honestly due to the rappers themselves, mainstream companies, and the consumers themselves. Why should a rapper care about being skilled when the fans have been conditioned not to?

and by can't sing I mean she ain't going vocal for vocal with any great singer

maybe we need to see Drake dance and then he could be the male Beyonce and live his life slander free

Because singing and dancing and showmanship is a talent.

If someone writes a song for you, as a rapper, all you are doing is just playing karaoke. Rappers don't sing, don't dance and up until fairly recently, the showmanship of their concerts wasn't that high, just a bunch of high ****** yelling on stage.

not everyone has the voice to make a song ....

so IMO rapping something written down for you is also a talent

not to mention memorizing all that **** and doing a concert in front of 30k people

Meh.

A voice is a voice, it ain't really too much hard work when it comes to talking/rapping.

Showmanship, flow, voice, etc. might indeed be a talent. But it's not really a talent I feel like you deserve 12 of my dollars for an album for.

It's funny drake running up the score..didn't think he had that killer instinct in him..bet meek didnt either..

I think this could be a good thing for meek..he was feeling bulletproof..this is really the first time someone really got off on him..but I think he can come back..just leave this alone..even if drake drop another song..

I'm more interesting now in what ar-ab has to say..he always supported meek and always showed love..any when his crew didn't..now that's a battle that can get ugly..
