I'm on probation, I've been given travel vouchers that have come up missing 7/8 months later. They've tried violating me for it, while it was right there in their computer and my folder. In the I can't speak for PA, but in NYC all their paperwork is about 6 months behind. Before I went to prison I was in and out of trouble, I was already on probation for a case I caught in Manhattan, I ended up catching a big case outta state, and NY had no clue. I missed a NY court date cause I was in jail waiting for my bond to be approved, they had no clue about that case until almost a year later.

Long story short, I was on the run in one state, on probation in another and was checking in every month. During that time I caught 2 cases in the same week, one in Queens another in Manhattan. Never got violated or brought up on the case I was on the run from. Then one day, somebody was doin their "job" found out I had 1 felony case in one state and another simple violation in another and probation police arrested me at home (Brooklyn).

The whole time in prison and halfway house I was NEVER tested for DNA (A requirement in most states after you're convicted of a felony) so about 5 months after being released, they were threatening to lock me up for up to 5 years for refusal to submit DNA. At the time I was on probation for 3 years, and had 7 years from my 10 year sentence that was still hanging.

Meek has made some poor choices, that can't be countered, but when a DA is after you, the prison population in this country shows that the DA normally gets what he/she wants. He may have made it easier, but I've seen people catch much more serious cases while on probation. This is a "technical violation", in NY you go to the Island (Rikers) and sit for 3 months. Technical violation ain't shot foreal

Hopefully money talks and he can make it out with some type of home confinement, or a suspended sentence. His probation will be upheld and he's gonna have to continue to go through the motions. Probation is worse than jail time for some people. I've seen people take extra jail time to make sure they didn't get probation time. It's THAT serious. It's a trap.

Hopefully Meek uses this experience to make more heartfelt music instead of a million watch references.
I started reading ur novela
Then realized about 1/3 way through
Ur a dumb *** criminal
And I guess u was tryna defend meek
But just made urself and him seem like real idiots
Ur an idiot

An idiot that was facing 25 years in prison a few years ago. Rubbing shoulders with Ns down since the 90s.

Came home and within a year was a professional stylist, worked on a marketing team for Skyzoo's album, organized a gang truce and write for a magazine amongst other things.

And you're on here gossiping about another man's case. And him crying in court FOH.

I ain't goin really say too much. Ns might send screen shots to my PO.

Whose gossiping
Everyone's giving their own opinion
Gossip is a when people talk about he say she say
I see everyone including u giving their opinion on the situation
I don't really give a **** about meek
And damn sure u
So no need to give me ur lil mini biography
No shade my dude
So don't get all upset
Congrats on dodging the 25 years though
But the fact that meek been on probation for 7 years
And still messing up
He's an idiot which is currently the topic at hand

But he did it to himself.  Only he can blame himself for giving someone COLD WATER for his pissed test.

Seriously 7 years on papers, and still F'n up.

Man up and take that charge like a man.

Nobody is saying Meek didn't bring it on himself. That wasn't my point.

I just don't get how you can violate probation and say the DA has it out for you? If I'm late to work 3x and get fired does my boss have it out for me? Just follow the rules it's really not that hard
post #11647 of 14596
I can't fault Meek for gettin' misty trying to dodge jail time. I ain't never been to jail but I got an uncle who was a CO and know a couple dudes who been locked...some of the stories they tell mean.gif I'd cry at the possibility of going back to.

He prolly shoulda thought of that before some of his shenanigans but he knew the DA was on his neck. Dude shoulda retired that street life and became a family man.

Actually yeah ur boss could
And u gave him more reason or a reason to get rid of u
Which of meek knows or thinks the DA is out for him
U make sure ur **** is in order and don't give her a reason

Pretty much. I wouldn't wish jail on a soul but there's Ns out here getting thrown in jail for much less. Meek needs to get it together.
I think Meek needed all of this controversy, stress, and ridicule to go back to his roots. To re-evaluate his image. Dude definitely has the skill. Philadelphians have a rich music history.

He will look back and say, that his ordeal in 2015 was a life altering phase. If he returns with the same uninspired music, then, I don't know what to say.
That DA should have better things to worry about than "technical violations". Guess she just tryin make the most out of her ONE high profile case.

These DAs/Judges wanna be famous like everyone else.

Unless you've sat in court on trumped charges and had a DA make you look like a serial killer, you wouldn't understand.

A lot of y'all are clueless.

I thought the same thing last year. Then he dropped the album and it was even more "Presidential rollie, ball like Kobe" type of tracks.

May be "dumb" but it's not a crime. It's a technical violation.

The DA is making a big deal as if he caught a NEW criminal case, or broke an actual United States law.

And that story is much too bizarre, anyone that's been in the criminal justice system would know better. The travel ****, maybe, the cold water **** is more than likely some sensationalized BS.

District Attorney's will normally say anything to get someone in jail just like a defense attorney will say anything to keep you out.

PO's are in the room when you pee. He couldn't just walk into probation with a bottle of Poland Springs. It doesn't work that way.

Nobody is saying the system is perfect and most know the system is biased, but Meek has the means (money to pay for handlers and good lawyers) to not be in this situation. Plus DA's and judges got feelings to...you go at them on a record and/or generally disrespect them by not abiding by the rules of your punishment hell yeah they gonna come at you harder than Joe Schmo who's trying to do right. Add the fact that he's a public figure and they gonna come extra hard. Dude had to know that

So naw I don't think he's any less gangsta for tearing up...he wasn't hard to start with.

At what point do some of you feel empathy for people?

Some of you seem a little too happy

Someone can bring something on themselves and you can still feel sympathetic towards their plight.

Bruh he says he gangsta
Threatens other folks and talks about how he getting his goons on them
In normal interviews he talks about how real he is and all that
Like I get it
I feel for dudes stuck in the system and know it's against us
But sometimes people put themselves in ****** up positions
Which he has done the last 6 months

He said he was gonna drop another album + do a tape with Future (am I the only one who noticed Drake just finessed that :lol) before the beef.

Hopefully he puts it on DCIV. Wonder if that's still coming on X-mas.

At the end of the day the only one to blame here is Meek.

I feel sorry for him but he did it to himself

:lol @ acting like

1. You've known about Meek and his situation since 07/08.

2. It takes SO MUCH EFFORT to recognize that it sucks that dude is going back for slip ups and technical violations.

Some of y'all in here going waaay too hard on son. I wonder if y'all would care so much about the Philadelphia Justice System taking this ruthless killer off the streets if he didn't do all the corny social media **** revolving around the beef/Drake. 8o

In here talmbout he should do a year in jail over some missed paperwork and a failed piss test. Who raised you ******? :lol

Don't see anyone saying he deserves to do years
Just that he needs to take responsibility
Just do his time and get it over with
IMO probation sucks
I know folks who say **** that
I'll just do my time so I have a clean slate
And ain't gotta worry about being violated
Idk man
I just think he shoulda been more in point
Watch when he gets out and do his media rounds
We gonna hear him AGAIN say
Maaaan I needed that time to sit down
I move different now yadda yadda yadda
Even though he said that last time

Don't know about that one fam.
They watched us even in the halfway house. Not in terms of looking but to make sure it was our bodily fluid. Just told me to leave the door open. And not to flush until the sample is sealed. Still don't understand that one 100%. Even in there cats was gettin urine from others.

In NY if you fail a test you just have to take a course on drugs. You don't get violated. But I guess it all depends on the type of probation you have. His is for a drug and gun case so he probably gets tested often. And he's given dirty urine before.

Meh. Both sides are messed up. The DA obviously has a hard on for meek which is just another issue within the legal system but meek gotta take some personal responsibility. You know the DA wants to **** you so don't get caught slipping. Period.

As the saying goes, if you give a ***** enough rope eventually he'll hang himself. That's exactly what Meek did......hung himself. Only an idiot and clown would dare UNPROVOKINGLY disrespect a District Attorney who literally has your life in her hands. That's like being in the jungle up in the trees only to come down from the trees to poke a sleeping lion with a stick. We call that self-inflicted wounds.

You dudes gotta realize something, the "real world" is just like the streets.....there are some people you just don't mess with. Simple as that.
