**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

Let's just not forget this all started because a guy was butt hurt that another guy didn't tweet about his new album. That's about as un-hip-hop as it gets. Forget a reference track. That's soft as baby ****.

They said Meek was mad when he found out Drake was using someone else's verse on Rico. Meek approached Drake about it. Drake was like whatever and brushed it off. Then he didn't show up for some Meek show he was scheduled to show for. Then Meek got mad and started the whole reference tracks leaking.

As for the guy saying none of us are in the studios and we don't know ****. Reference tracks are 9 times out of 10 written by the ghost writer. It's a rough draft. A huge difference in a reference track and throwing out ideas and hooks.

My brother has written reference tracks for artists today.

Hahahaha Hahahaha right. I've been in studios with dudes that pursue and some that are actually on, like songs on the radio, going on tour "on". And I've never seen some random guy go in the booth after the artist and spit the same damn **** with less charisma and be paid to do that. Makes no damn sense.

If anything, if I'm paying you to write for me that means I'm getting exclusive rights to your style, that's the catch. You can't just use this same flow on your tape, defeats the whole purpose of hiring you. I could just listen to your tape and jack your flow if that's the case

Lol I've been in the studio with struggle up and coming rappers and established rappers, and the fact remains there's still a difference Btwn everybody vibing and bouncing ideas off one another and having a reference track for a verse and almost spitting it verbatim.

But anyway man nuff about that, that subject tired in here already. Compton go ahead and post more Nicki pictures or something.

And yikes at Back to Back selling 122k in sales.

Because Q himself said he didn't write whole verses that he and Drake would write stuff together. It's a bunch of ****** in here who have never been in a studio or any type of creative space talking out their ***.

I mean what else would you expect a GHOST writer to say? Your whole post makes it seem like q didn't do anything but go in the booth and repeat after drake. Like I said I'm not a rapper. I play basketball, I pay gym fees but I damn sure wouldn't call myself a basketball player like I play for the lakers with kobe and them.

I wouldn't call myself a bball player if I had to play for them either. That would be embarrassing.

Drake should have released the song on iTunes the night he released it. Probably would have sold 300K singles that week. Then shoot a video within a few days. You looking at a platinum single.

White broad wack as ****. Looking like Marlon Wayans in White Chicks.

Blue jays been on fire since the diss track dropped too, if they win back to back World Series again.......

Meek could get my respect again if he convinces Drake to let him on a Back 2 Back remix and he clowns himself.

I rap. I've got tapes out. I rent studio time. Several times it'll be a bunch of dudes in there writing to beats and reciting half written verses and dudes being like "that's dope let me see that". Then they change stuff move it around, spit it a different way etc. and be like how do you feel about doing it like that instead?

If you listen to a couple of Q references he says "let me try something". Drake is out on promotion, Q is on retainer as a dude to help write and refine tracks. Of course there's gonna be dozens of references of him rapping bars that you hear Drake rap. That doesn't mean he wrote them word for word or that it's even his flow.

What's ****** up is Meek knows this, OG Maco knows this, and Drama damn sure knows this. **** Meek has probably worked as a dude tightening up another rappers bars.

That's why people are ignoring the QM wrote everything rants. Because he said he didn't, if you know how the game works you know he probably didn't, and if you listen to his mix tapes you can tell he damn sure didn't invent that cadence.

The bars he gives Drake are coincidentally 1000 times better than anything he's ever used for himself, and we're to believe drake had nothing to do with that?

What's jokes is I don't even care about this. I was one of the first people in this thread roasting Drake for the lulz. I'm just tired of ****** grasping at straws and going on and on when what's really going on is they just don't like dude and his music but don't want to admit it because it'd expose them as a bunch of sour crabs.

This **** is the rap deflate-gate.

And lol at people referencing Tupac as a "real" dude who wrote all his own bars. You ****** would shed tears...

A lot of truth in this post

Considering part of Drake's appeal is melody and flow. Reference tracks are more important than lyrics.
