After Drake got exposed with QuentinGate and TIPhomieCAPgate. His whole life is a fraud if this the way Hip Hop going where rappers get singer treatment getting raps laid for them just coming providing vocals. Big and Pac rolling in their grave right now it's a shame I blame all the 90 babies and up for letting a rich child actor faking struggle and gunplay. When he never even had a speeding ticket. This is whom you place your faith. I wouldn't be surprised after all the L Drake took today he probably been drunk texting and getting rejected as normal he waking this afternoon after nightmares of pissed on trying to off hisself likeHZAG6mS.gif

I'm waiting on them to release the whole take care reference album. We know The Weeknd wrote that.
I doubt that cause The Weekend is terrible and Drake is not.

He has too much ammo but you listed a bunch of stuff that everybody else already knows laugh.gif

its not about making excuses for the latter, it just doesn't make any sense

written make believe vs assisted truth

Being fake and not writing your raps are two different things.

And how many rappers are fake? Dudes always say this, but only come up with Rick Ross.

Meek never had a chance now that I think about it. People are gonna **** eat Drake no matter what. We could have a video of Quentin Miller writing Drake's songs for him, and Ns would still act like it's irrelevant. Whatever man laugh.gif

I hate the fact that it's being glossed over

This generation doesn't seem to care.

dudes really need to stop trying to justify dude not writing raps

We've heard 4 reference tracks 1 being the biggest song off of his album and this won't even stick. His fans are gonna ignore it and as long as he keeps rapping about what he's rapping about and stays out of prison white america will continue supporting him.

I was thinking about this **** last night. People think it's cool that billion dollar corporations are backing up Drake. These corporations would never backup a black rapper, but they all on board with the light skinned Jew. It's not a good look for rap music. People that don't even listen to rap chiming in and making jokes mean.gif

I played both songs this morning, I like both songs and hate both artists.

Drake had one or two more lines than Meek.

Meek's line who was Quentin running with is the hardest line of the beef

Drake's diss is so calm and laid back, singing and ****. Which I get, it's his style but I prefer anger and violence when I'm listening to a beef track. I like that Meek brought that (which obviously is his style) but it's perfect for a beef track.

I still have it as a tie. Back to Back isn't nowhere near as hard as some of you are making it out to be.

The worst part of this is reading people make excuses for him having someone write his rhymes. One of the biggest lines of 2015 is someone else's and it's accepted. Rap really lost with this beef mean.gif

Yeah I didn't even know Gunplay had an album coming out.

It's funny Nicki said Meek the new DMX because Gunplay could really be that if they pushed him harder.

The Weeknd > Drake

And The Ride, Shot For Me, Crew Love and Practice, maybe more songs were House of Balloons (Weeknd mixtape) songs first.

Plus he did writing on that album.

Which figures because Take Care is hands down Drakes best work.

The fact that the first shots in this beef originated on social media have a lot more to do with the corporations commenting on this beef.

Obviously it doesn't hurt that they are backing a highly marketable rapper.  He's this generations Will Smith or Nelly and is seen as harmless by most people outside of the culture.

Popularity seems to be swaying things heavily in Drake's favor but Meek's clown behavior isn't helping either.  Take the popularity advantage away and Meek is still losing on the music alone.

I do feel like he's being crucified more because of the way he's handled everything so far.  I can't really respect someone that'll buddy up with people when it benefits them but will turn on them just as quickly if they see an opportunity to further benefit.

I mean...

It hasn't exactly underdelivered. Meek just took too long.

Drake emasculating Meek, we find out Drake potentially got wee wee'd on.

I'd say this has been a pretty eventful week laugh.gif.

Meek just eternally ****** himself by

A. Not dropping nothing Monday.

B, Not saying nothing Tuesday in Toronto.

Because Back To Back is what got people on Drakes **** and that song does not/can not happen if Meek does either of the above.

Drake didn't win this beef, Meek lost it, word to Russell Westbrook.

Nobody else would be having a diss record promoted by ESPN, the weather channel, etc...NOBODY.

This L is on Meek more so than Drake winning it as said above. Meek played himself. Got into his feelings and went on a Twitter rant about Drake b/c he didn't tweet his album. He was salty that Drake tweeted Future's album, and not his. That's the origin of this "beef". It made him look emotional and corny and fake. Although, he did expose Drake, he did nothing to drive that nail in the coffin.

He then keeps tweeting while Drake drops a solid light Jab at Meek. Then fumbles with dropping the diss the first time, then not dropping it in Toronto, then hyping the diss up only to finally come with an average diss days later.

Drake played this well. Dropping back 2 back before Meek dropped a response was brilliant because he knew Meek's diss would only match "Charged up". Like someone said, it's the equivalent of being down two TD's in the 4th qtr and running the ball. Drake also knew the Internet would lean 65/35 to him in perception from the go, and with Meek's shenanigans, they would ride with him more. Meek needed to do more to win this as the aggressor, and he messed this up terribly. The ball is in Drake's court now with the opportunity to end Meek.

Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers sums this up the most.

Ludacris didn't do Pepsi commercials?

50 Cent didn't do vitamin water commercials?

T.I didn't do a Chevy commercial?

Lil Wayne doesn't do Mountain Dew commercials?

Rick Ross and Swizz Beatz didn't sling Reeboks?

Its a new day, hip hop has been mainstream for well over a decade.

Its all of a sudden not acceptable to people because its Drake.

Meek ****** himself for those ugly *** pumas.

the average drake fan is a female, listens to pop/rnb, or a kid in high school or college. they literally grew up listening to him.

Meek would have put himself in such a better position if he put his little Twitter rant in a rap song from the beginning.

I don't think people are tryna say hip hop ain't got corporate involvement, I think people are tryna say, no other hip hop artist would have political figures, burger joints, porn sites, brands like Jordan, and multiple ESPN shows all simultaneously roasting their opponent laugh.gif.

Lmao these ****** got a free commercial at Meek's expense and I ain't even mad.

He even went about the Twitter rant wrong. Should've had strong bars with no gimmicks lined up right after Draje dropped "Charged up" to remind people that this ***** likely has a team of Ghost writers.

Meek royaly ****** up.
