I personally think it's the social media aspect.  Meek chose to kick this off with a keyboard instead of a mic and so far he's getting killed by that same keyboard.

He hasn't taken an L he can't come back from musically.  Things could have been really different right now if he would have kept it to the music.

I'm wheezing at "accidentally" getting pee pee'd on.

I'm beating a ***** *** if he even has the unmitigated gall to pull his wee wee out in front of me and I'm in need of a lawyer and bail money if God forbid urine were to touch my smooth chocolatey flesh.

Find it funny how Yall putting so much stock into this pissing story. Like in every diss, a rapper has to exaggerate an embarrassing story. Lines and situations like that are par of the course for disses. That's far from career ending for anybody.

I'm more concerned with Drake's history of having multiple ghostwriters. And how he straight signed and took whole tracks from The Weekend & PND, than some drunk dude accidentally pissing near his feet at a movie premier in 2010.

Dude just needs to hit back now.  If its going to be another week between diss tracks then just let this go and hopefully we'll forget in a couple weeks.

I think all of it's pretty bad

but social media and memes are winning and seem to have made everyone forget that

1. That comeback was horrible, it should of been straight bars. He thought he was being witty with the edits but it's wack nobody wants that from Meek. We wants bars

2. Dude wasn't even clear with his approach so every bar is confusing. Is it for SB? Joe? Drake?

He was better off just being a Twitter honey and letting people move on to the next hot thing

Its different.  Producers like Kanye will sometimes already have the chorus for a beat for an artist before they even hear the track.

As an example, Never Change which is one of my favorite Jay-Z songs wasn't orginally his.  Kanye produced and wrote the same chorus for a chicago artist that recorded a song over the beat but never paid him for it.  He ended up giving the same beat and chorus to Jay-Z and the rest is history.

The funny thing is back then when the original rapper leaked his version of the song Jay-z was accused of stealing the song.

i think the whole ghostwriting thing wouldnt be looked at funny if Drake woulda been shouting Quentin Miller out, instead of just sneaking in the album credits. like we all knew kanye was heavily involved with j****'s music even before he was "kanye west"... like in this song, jay-z shouts out kanye in the being

to me kanye seems like the kind of producer to be like "heres how i want the song to sound from start to end. i just want your voice on it"

The best producers give guidance on how they think the rapper should ride the beat.  If you know that song like I know that song, nothing kanye said was used in the verses.  The part kanye gave him was only used on the chorus.

It is, your favorite rapper likely doesn't write his own chorus.

What Drake is being accused of is having someone write his verse.

i havent listened to quentin millers music, but are his lines drake-esque? how do we know what his roll really was? aside from producing maybe his roll was similar?

Go here, reference tracks are in the first post.

The most damning evidence to me is the know yourself reference track.  It was word for word.  So its either these tracks were recorded after Drake completed the songs or dude wrote the portions he recorded.

how do we know that drake didnt write the lyircs and QM's job is to direct the flow like kanye did with jay? maybe hes got the ear for details? all the reference track talk but all i hear is a guy rapping drake lines.
