**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

The fact that the first shots in this beef originated on social media have a lot more to do with the corporations commenting on this beef.

Obviously it doesn't hurt that they are backing a highly marketable rapper.  He's this generations Will Smith or Nelly and is seen as harmless by most people outside of the culture.

Popularity seems to be swaying things heavily in Drake's favor but Meek's clown behavior isn't helping either.  Take the popularity advantage away and Meek is still losing on the music alone.

I do feel like he's being crucified more because of the way he's handled everything so far.  I can't really respect someone that'll buddy up with people when it benefits them but will turn on them just as quickly if they see an opportunity to further benefit.

yall were looking for a real beef from a guy that acted on a canadian teen drama and the guy dating nicki minaj the "artist" that brought us star ships?

I mean...

It hasn't exactly underdelivered. Meek just took too long.

Drake emasculating Meek, we find out Drake potentially got wee wee'd on.

I'd say this has been a pretty eventful week .

Meek just eternally ****** himself by

A. Not dropping nothing Monday.

B, Not saying nothing Tuesday in Toronto.

Because Back To Back is what got people on Drakes **** and that song does not/can not happen if Meek does either of the above.

Drake didn't win this beef, Meek lost it, word to Russell Westbrook.

Black rappers don't get corporate backing and sponsorships?

The **** are you guys talking about now?

Man forget the fact that 4 new reference tracks dropped, yall really talking about ppl getting "accidentally" pissed on. Yall would really let a drunk dude piss on you and let it ride because it was an "accident"? Y'all can't be real men [emoji]128514[/emoji]

Maybe that's why they like Drake

This L is on Meek more so than Drake winning it as said above. Meek played himself. Got into his feelings and went on a Twitter rant about Drake b/c he didn't tweet his album. He was salty that Drake tweeted Future's album, and not his. That's the origin of this "beef". It made him look emotional and corny and fake. Although, he did expose Drake, he did nothing to drive that nail in the coffin.

He then keeps tweeting while Drake drops a solid light Jab at Meek. Then fumbles with dropping the diss the first time, then not dropping it in Toronto, then hyping the diss up only to finally come with an average diss days later.

Drake played this well. Dropping back 2 back before Meek dropped a response was brilliant because he knew Meek's diss would only match "Charged up". Like someone said, it's the equivalent of being down two TD's in the 4th qtr and running the ball. Drake also knew the Internet would lean 65/35 to him in perception from the go, and with Meek's shenanigans, they would ride with him more. Meek needed to do more to win this as the aggressor, and he messed this up terribly. The ball is in Drake's court now with the opportunity to end Meek.

Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers sums this up the most.

Ludacris didn't do Pepsi commercials?

50 Cent didn't do vitamin water commercials?

T.I didn't do a Chevy commercial?

Lil Wayne doesn't do Mountain Dew commercials?

Rick Ross and Swizz Beatz didn't sling Reeboks?

Its a new day, hip hop has been mainstream for well over a decade.

Its all of a sudden not acceptable to people because its Drake.

Meek ****** himself for those ugly *** pumas.

the average drake fan is a female, listens to pop/rnb, or a kid in high school or college. they literally grew up listening to him.

Meek would have put himself in such a better position if he put his little Twitter rant in a rap song from the beginning.

This **** is unreal man [emoji]128514[/emoji], can't keep it real to save their life. If the shoe was on the other foot, Meek's career would be over...but it's Drizzy so it's an accident...You can't make this **** up [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

I don't think people are tryna say hip hop ain't got corporate involvement, I think people are tryna say, no other hip hop artist would have political figures, burger joints, porn sites, brands like Jordan, and multiple ESPN shows all simultaneously roasting their opponent .

Lmao these ****** got a free commercial at Meek's expense and I ain't even mad.

He even went about the Twitter rant wrong. Should've had strong bars with no gimmicks lined up right after Draje dropped "Charged up" to remind people that this ***** likely has a team of Ghost writers.

Meek royaly ****** up.

People care way to much about this

i'm still gonna be bumping both of them if i like the music they put out

.
I personally think it's the social media aspect.  Meek chose to kick this off with a keyboard instead of a mic and so far he's getting killed by that same keyboard.

He hasn't taken an L he can't come back from musically.  Things could have been really different right now if he would have kept it to the music.

I'm wheezing at "accidentally" getting pee pee'd on.

I'm beating a ***** *** if he even has the unmitigated gall to pull his wee wee out in front of me and I'm in need of a lawyer and bail money if God forbid urine were to touch my smooth chocolatey flesh.

Find it funny how Yall putting so much stock into this pissing story. Like in every diss, a rapper has to exaggerate an embarrassing story. Lines and situations like that are par of the course for disses. That's far from career ending for anybody.

I'm more concerned with Drake's history of having multiple ghostwriters. And how he straight signed and took whole tracks from The Weekend & PND, than some drunk dude accidentally pissing near his feet at a movie premier in 2010.

Dude just needs to hit back now.  If its going to be another week between diss tracks then just let this go and hopefully we'll forget in a couple weeks.

meek was always the wrong one to go at drake. he's not even a top tier rapper. never stood a chance in the first place.

I agree with this. I was like it took a week for this....son...I stayed up an extra hour for this

I think all of it's pretty bad

but social media and memes are winning and seem to have made everyone forget that
