**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

Both of these dudes looking funny right now. Even though Meek looks like a clown he still exposed the fact that QM was writing Drakes ****.

Just heard Meeks diss. Its weak, soon as it comes on this _ talking bout money and instagram.

But.... That running through the 6 song was reference song too? And Drake let some _ piss on him?

one of ti's papis let if fly all over aubrey and he didn't feel like catching a body that day so he let it slide, down his forehead and into his eyes mixed with tears.

Now that I had time to digest it and some time off from work..Meek just underestimated social media..I never seen social media play such a big part in a rap battle before...Drake really had corporations coming at meek..I'm not sure if this meek against Kendrick or j.cole the feedback would have been the same..

Meek simply picked the wrong battlefield..meek with probably Troy Ave are the biggest anti-social media guys out there..always saying negative things about people on social media..You just can't expect the people you been bashing for 2 years to ride for you..

Do I think B2B was a better track..yes..but was it ether..no..and was it 100x better than wanna know I don't think so..If meek would have put wanna know in between charged up and B2B we could still have something here but another mistake he made was timing..he played this all wrong..

Drake is only looking funny to the dudes who never rocked with him anyway.  I don't think anyone else cares that much because he was never really in the discussion for the GOAT rapper, however, GOAT artist is a different story.

Idk but his fan base is hood dudes. These ****** was so excited to see meek, like the hood guru [emoji]128514[/emoji]. One of my homeboys said his homie was talking about he motivated now, like negro this dude performed imma boss and levels now u just wanna get some paper? [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]
[emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] man you ain't lying my lil potna like that when Levels came out I asked him "WHY YOU LISTEN TO MEEK BRUH?" dude was like "CAUSE HE JUST LIKE ME YOUNG, GETTING MONEY & HAVING FUN DUDE REALLY BE INSPIRING ON SOME ****" I was like [emoji]128529[/emoji][emoji]128529[/emoji][emoji]128529[/emoji][emoji]128529[/emoji]....The thing with MEEK it's not that DRAKE is light skin MEEK just a lame over all dude addressing ppl on IG on his diss track....

It's cool not to like Meek now wow.

N's booing his diss record in the club.
Sometimes it's not about being "cool", but moreso about dudes bringing it upon themselves by doing unlikeable ****.
He dissed arguably the biggest contributor to his album's success (as far as features go) for weak props and lulz.

This social media tough guy/bully persona he cultivated blew up in his face. He deserves all this ****.

Tell that to anyone who 100% rocks with him

Agreed about Meek playing this all wrong and it blowing up in his face like it did. It's pretty embarrassing that Meek took all these L's, cause Drake isn't even really all that much better as a straight up rapper than he is. It's just that if you come at somebody, you better be more than a 1 dimensional dude yourself. Perception is everything sometimes, and in this case, you had Meek who was supposed to be some hard battle-rapper while Drake was supposed to be a soft-ballad rapper. They each exchanged some of the most underwhelming disses you'll ever hear, yet Meek Mill was clearly affected as if he heard Hit'em Up or Takeover  add in Meek's constant twitter and IG posts, and you have one massive L.

meek still aint tweet
laugh.gif
 its over for him

when a dude make you stop doing something you're used to doing, he got under your skin

Drake is better as a straight up rapper than Tweet is, which isn't really saying that much.

Neither are in the top tier of lyricists.

Wale might have got in his ears about it.
He's been known to delete his Twitter for weeks at a time to stop him from responding to trolls.

Yo that wanna know diss is aite, after all is settled down it ain't bad. Back2back is an anthem though..never saw a hit record of a diss, he has the format down so good.

But to really go on topic, does no one care that he doesn't write? I mean yo that's a huge thing...that milli vanilli line is deep, look what happen to them and how authentic fans were in terms of their expectations from the artists.

It obviously not the same thing, but pretty close concept

You mean to tell me he didn't write anything on So Far Gone?

Bottom line, Meek hasnt been about nothing from jump. When he was on his battle era he had some low set heat. His whole thing was chopper this, duck tape that, run up in your spot, and flip this much crack. Talking the same lines ,only swapping the caliber, the product he was selling, and the opponent he was vs'ing.
Imo he peeked with the Reed$ diss.
Now if hed of got on that with
MC Tear drops, hed of aired him out.
Instead he dragged his feet, then came mediocre, exactly the same way hes been his entire "signed" career, weak and repetitive.

Im a concious hip hop enthusiasts,so to me all this trap, trill, feels rap is lame.
Hardly
Nobody spitting real life rhymes anymore, Im talking that wake u up , give a lesson, set a standard come original, and lyrically uplift and stimulate.

This drake vs meek aint battling , if you ever got down with some URL,KOTD, the top seeds and even alot of the low level battlers would destroy the both of these dudes. The url kotd get some credit for semi keeping the art of battling alive, but
Even then,real battles were respected
when they was strictly off the top, no pre writtens, if u came with a written u was asking to get clowned. Actually had to walk with skill, be ready on sight. and quick witted. Wasnt no go home write up some bs, come back tomorrow and try again, as is with life many times theres no 2nd chance, and hiphop reflected that with how battling took place.
Freestyling is a lost art in this era, as is raw lyrical ability, consciousness, and Honesty. Streets no longer dictate the culture, its pathetic.

Overall the current state of hiphop is flat out border line DEAD....

Meek was never going to go bar for with drake..he doesn't have that in him..never did..he's no lyricist..his lane is street music..

In his rap battles in the past..which took part in the streets..he could rely on true statements to discredit his opponent..ex: saying Joey jihad got knocked out on his block to sway the battle in his favor..things like this doesn't work when the people just doesn't care about it..so when he say drake got smack by diddy it goes in one and out the other.

People wanted something from him he couldn't deliver..I been following the guy from the beginning and knew what he would come with..factual statements and street talk..thats been his game plan in every battle..but saying your real to a audience who don't care about it was his downfall..
