I said the same thing laugh.gif but I heard so much about it so I gave it a chance.

I binge watched the whole season 1 yesterday laugh.gif I'm gonna finish season 2 when I get home from work laugh.gif

It doesn't even compare to the wire because the wire tackled sooooooo much more stuff than the street **** while Power is mostly about two street dudes who make poor decisions influenced by vagina laugh.gif

All that being said, it's extremely entertaining laugh.gif

I've never watched Power, but I don't think its trying to be anything like The Wire.

From what I understand it's more of a high end soap oprah similar to Shoda Rhimes type stuff.

I tried to listen to Ja's first CD a couple of years ago. His music didn't age well at all.

Nah.  Back when he was a newcomer he wasn't that bad.  Can't call him great or anything, but he was definitely listenable.

In hindsight BB was forgetable
Kinda wanna say it was long and drawn out trash
But I'm a let it slide

Actually Ja was Drake before Drake

Neva Again

Will I make you cry baby
You know I lie, you can see it in my eyes baby
But the truth is when a woman's fed up
There ain't a damn thing you can do about love
What about us?
Why must our lawyers discuss
Who gets the kids, who gets the cribs and how we should both live
When I love ya, when we apart all I do is think of ya
But you think I'm ****** everything that's walkin

:hat

Even after the 50 fiasco he still had hits honestly.  Ja just had that formula.  Its rare to see an artist that just dont miss with the singles.
