**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

Just messin wit u lol.  But Drake vs Kendrick would be a good battle.  Idk what theyd actually talk about tho.

The problem with Meek in this whole situation is,  Meek just isnt good enough as a rapper to be calling people out about their pen work.  He was never gonna win this, especially with those 2 pieces of ammo he had.   This was a losing battle from jump.

Lol but man he coulda at least came at him with some battle bars. He got that kinda delivery & voice where everything he says sounds like it goes hard even if it really doesnt lol

I still don't think he won. Social media killed Meek, not Back to Back. Good song but it wasn't hard enough at all. He needs another diss song.
I'm a Meek Stan and even I know he lose this one bro lol. I'm still support him and buy his records regardless. He still the voice of the streets

He aint lying, drake didn't finish meek, his favorite thing in this world twitter did. Drake can def throw the finishing blow tonight if he chooses, all depends on if he wants to do it or not. Either way he's the victor.

I don't **** with Drake or Meek. Never bought an album from either of them. I like the Meek record more. Drake & Co's lines were wittier.

If km another, I'm scared of his fans more than anything. These people range from dollar tree execs to ceos of billion dollar companies to Amish people. No one not named pit bull can win right now.

It wouldn't have been as bad for Meek if he

A. Dropped his diss right after Charged Up, because people are giving Drake this W based off of Back 2 Back, not Charged Up.

B. His diss was better. Even though we already knew about Drake being soft, we also already knew about Meek opening up for Nicki and Nicki having more money than him. It was just the novelty of hearing Drake say it.

C. Wasn't always on Twitter being corny.

So let me ask yall this. Regardless of how you feel about drakes legacy and ghostwriting in general. If you were to pay top dollar for a drake verse and then find out he didn't write it, or come up with the flow/melody, is that a legit reason to be at least a little upset? I couldn't help but feel a little played. It's like when rappers try to give you a throwaway verse or a producer sells u a beat someone else already used.

flesh prince flesh prince I 100% agree. Had he dropped this after charged up people would be looking at him like OK your turn. He waited wayyyy to late. If he would've put the twitter down, responded timely we wouldn't hand drake the W, we would be waiting on his response right now.

I'd honor everything you were saying if he didn't still use the track.  He should have nixed it if he felt a way but he didn't because he saw a way to get himself more publicity out of it.  It just went the other way.

Meek better start dissing dead Canadian homies [emoji]128514[/emoji], got some inside **** on drake loving these strippers or something.

this plus who know's if he actually paid Drake for the feature. I know he alluded he doesn't need feature money but could also be in general

The info in Meek's diss was enough, it was the bars and execution that was terrible.  Could you imagine the damage Fab, Jada, or any other punchline rapper could have done to Drake.

Meek on Twitter was like a lil kid that loved to touch a hot stove

He keeping messing with it over and over

Until one day he *** got a first degree burn that required a skin graft

Some folk just have to learn the hard way. You a grown man, keep your emotional outburst off Twitter pa

Give it up man.

Meek loss.
People still praying for Drake to take an L lmao.  This over bruh.

Yep.  Meek has every right to be upset.  But he handled it like a woman.  If he had so much of an issue, I KNOW he has Drakes number or could easily get it.  Or why not just stop working with him from then on.  Don't run to TWITTER of all things, especially when you dont have enough ammo to deal with the consequences.

Meek shoulda took that L and just stopped rocking with Drake if he felt so strongly about it.  He was feeling himself too much, wanted to try to flex and show how hard he was.  Which backfired terribly.

Ok, but I'm assuming funds had already been exchanged. Someone posted a few pages back that meek approached drake about it once he found out, before going to twitter with it. So you try to work it out, maybe get a different verse, or get your money back and drakes says no way. I'd feel even more played if I tried to get it rectified and was turned doWn. But at that point your money is in, and it is the golden boy, so throwing that money out the window based on principle seems a reach. Plus it was probably at least partly the labels money so he may not have even had that choice.

I'm not praying for Drake to lose. I don't like either rapper and too much damage has been done. Meek can't win this. All im saying is, he needs another song to win this battle in my book. It's a draw between BTB and WK.

We have to stop making excuses for bad behavior.  Meek is too old for anybody to be doing some maybe this or maybe that with him.  He did exactly what he wanted to do which was out Drake.  If that isn't what he wanted to do then he wouldn't have went to that much effort to secure the reference tracks before he called Drake out.

Now he's living with the consequences of his actions.  It was a miscalculation, it happens.  Grown men take L's everyday.  If he has any sort of character he'll come out of this a better person.
