**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

why did meek sell twice as much then

Because of that single with nicki MINAJ and Chris brown, nicki has a huge fan base and brought some of that to meek

But if you think Meeks last album is better than the album about nothing then that's just a shame

The pessimist >

why do people give nicki credit for meeks success [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]
his debut did 175k foh with that bs
and i liked both albums
Wale's had no replay value tho in my opinion
but Meek is clearly the bread winner of mmg
nobody checking for ross or wale like that and their numbers show that
even though black market and aan were both dope

I didn't give Nicki all the credit for Meeks success
fake lol fake lol fake lol

But that single with her and breezy are Part of the reason for him selling twice as much, which was your original question

Wales album had the most replay value out of all their most recent projects

I don't believe that
Raekwon
Jadakiss
Joe budden
Styles p
Who are hardcore rappers who have gone on record to say they listen to and like drakes music
He makes catchy music sometimes
Even hardcore rap fans enjoy something different every now and then
And of course apple got Taylor swift singing his music in a commercial
He gets paid from Apple
Let him cook until we get a bad product
If views is trash or even mediocre his run will be coming to an end
But if it ain't
Then man idk what to tell folks who don't like dude
Not even playing that card but why would they say they don't like his music. They not in the business of slandering each other. I could say alot of rap dudes slandered him when those songs leaked on Twitter but it's only 2 songs. Off the strength of the kinda music he makes his fan base is as diverse as they come. Reminds me of early 2000 Nelly but bigger because of all the outlets these guys have access too. But his reign as this "best rapper" his fans and casual fans put on him is coming to an end.

Don't compare Drake to Nelly, you know how Drake stans get when people do that

I dont even know why you engaged him after he responded to your initial statement with "why did he sell twice as much".

sales don't mean an artist is better
but you can definitely use it to gauge how big an artists fanbase is and how poppin he is at the moment
in no way shape or form is wale the best in mmg lol
nobody talks about wale nowadays
definitely not as much as around the time of ambition
you older cats have something against non-lyrical music and its corny

Future is my favorite rapper right now and hes not a lyrical rapper so Whatever point you were trying to make didn't work.

Wale is just a better rapper than meek mill, it is what it is

And in regards to your album sale argument, meeks album sold more ds2 and evol, it also sold more than wiz Khalifa new joint. meek is not a bigger artist than wiz or future nor could he he headline his own tour like they can

meek could def headline his own tour
and idk why you threw wiz in there
hes been trash for a minute lmaoooo
nobody checking for him

Wiz had the biggest rap song released in 2015, so yea I won't waste my time responding to you anymore

the song was hot because of the dude on the hook
you're delusional if you think otherwise
literally any rapper couldve spit verses on that and ut would have been just as big

Just like meek only sold double because his lead single had Nikki MINAJ and Chris brown :D

people we're anticipating DWMTM, i know i was i ain't gonna lie about that. Meek had a big year in 2015, he sold well plus he was all over that Creed Soundtrack. he was the only one who was making aggressive music when most we're trying to become the next Drake mixing all the singing and rapping.

7 Million views, not bad for a dude who's career is "dead" :nerd:

there were alot of good songs besides those two tracks, Cold Hearted might be one of the realest songs he's made. there's a handful of album cuts i can still listen to today.

Wiz fan base is bigger than Meek. Wiz got all them hippy dudes, pot heads and the college crowd.

Wiz can definitely headline. He may have dropped a massive dumpster of an album that even his diehard fans didn't care far, but with the fanbase he has like $tacy $tacy mentioned, he has endless backing.

the beef was like a month after the album dropped lol
really the thing that made people forget about dwmtm was ds2
yall need to stop making it seem like drake killed his career

Shortly after Meek Mill began serving his house arrest sentence, a judge clarified the stipulation that the Philadelphia rapper could not release music during the 90-day term.

TMZ reports that Meek Mill can release music to "protect his brand" and must release it to non-revenue platforms such as Soundcloud and YouTube. The initial sentence said that he could not release music, a stipulation that he appealed.

The MMG rapper is preparing the release of Dreamchasers 4 and last week released a remix of Desiigner's "Panda" and Drake's "Summer Sixteen."

Meek Mill and Drake are set to go back-to-back as both their projects are scheduled to release April 29.

According to DatPiff, Meek Mill's Dreamchasers 4 mixtape is said to include a remix of Drake's "Summer Sixteen."

Over the weekend, the Toronto rapper announced that his Views From the 6 album is also slated to drop on that day.

Drake and Meek Mill have been battling since last summer when the Philadelphia rapper called out Drake for allegedly using a ghostwriter. The beef has spawned three official diss tracks, two from Drake and one from Meek Mill, although the Dreams Worth More Than Money rapper took shots at Drake on both installments of his 4-4 EP series.

This face-off echoes other rap rivalries. In 2007, 50 Cent sought to spar with Kanye West by releasing his Curtis album the same day as West's Graduation, which was released through Roc-A-Fella Records. J. Cole also tested his marketing capability in 2013 when he released Born Sinner the same day as West's Yeezus. Last year, Young Thug threatened to release Slime Season the same day as Lil Wayne's Free Weezy Album.

Unless he has a diss with a a bear off of views besides Summer 16 that we don't know about
I'm not interested
But this could be a smart move
Or entirely stupid

Don't even care about the beef anymore.

It has reached its peak. Only thing left to happen is a physical altercation, which would be corny.

I just want good music from both sides.
