In a town accustomed to both construction and unusual sights, New Yorkers on West 34th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues—one block from Madison Square Garden—on Friday morning noticed a new 18-foot tall classic Jordan shoebox serving as a construction barrier. Behind that barrier, the Jordan Brand and Footaction teams are hard at work creating a Jordan-only retail store, the first in a series of planned premium Jordan retail experiences coming to North America.

“We’re excited to launch North America's first Jordan Brand exclusive retail experience for athletes at the top of their game who demand the absolute best in both performance and style,” said Larry Miller, President, Jordan Brand. "We will work with Footaction to bring Flight 23 to markets across North America, and can't imagine a better place to start than one of the best basketball cities in the world, New York."

No Nike's or Adidas or any other brands in the past they have been selling.

Just Jordan and Team Jordan Items.

WEIRD… LIKE SOMEONE SAID THEY WILL PROB SELL OUT ALL THE GOOD STUFF AND HAVE A STORE FILLED WITH WACK MERCHANDISE ALL YEAR ROUND

. They'll get the usual GR's, QS, and the like. But will also have all the wack JB kicks and gear. It's news but it's not news. I don't expect anything spectacular really.

Jordan clothing has excellent quality. I still have gear that I bought in 2002 and wear regularly. The quality is much better than the retro shoes
 
i think they should have a customizing service like Canal 340, otherwise no point other than to get tourist money

So it'll be more like a Jordan Outlet store (With limited releases).

Hope they make one in LA, CALI
 
Maybe they'll have new sneakers made just for the jb store? As my man stayblunted said expect a huge gamma restock there, would be surprised if they don't pop up
 
I can smell the ******* from here... At least we know where the all-star drama will be going down!
