NYC - 34Th Footaction Will Officially Sell Jordan Brand Items Only.

[emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji] u better off robbing flightclub. If ur gonna be doing any robbing...

Hahaha.

I hope that construction wall painted to look like the Jordan retro box is up for a few weeks. I should be in NYC in Feb and would be fun to pass by in person.

Maybe they'll have new sneakers made just for the jb store? As my man stayblunted said expect a huge gamma restock there, would be surprised if they don't pop up
Def. Gamma and I see Bred 1s as well...

Im more excited about getting a picture near that huge box before they take it down than seeing the store

I heard and read people saying...Nike and JB want to really expand their retail footprints, but nike is NOT opening up new Nikestores. I guess this is what we'll see along with increased allotments to HOH stores.

I def wouldnt be surprised if the Charlotte Bobcats store here in Charlotte got turned into a JB Store. All they sell is Jordan gear ans sneakers besides Bobcats/Hornets gear.

Yeah lets give NYC this JB/Nike store when they awready get everything in ther local malls, HOH, NTWN, and mom & pops stores

Also where continous drama repeats its self every major release. Build that **** here n Portland. WTF!............

I'm sure there will be some sort of customizing going on at this location. I remember when they had the all star game in LA and they had one of these jordan experiences at foot action. They did lazering customization

we really don't have malls in NYC.

there are 8 million people in NYC, so we have exponentially more demand and even with the two HOHs (which are very small btw) and all of the small boutiques, even GR pairs dry up within about an hour around the entire city--all 5 boroughs. Not to mention that most of the top tier boutiques only get one FSR and they usually only sell to their friends.

I'd imagine that Oregon has a larger imprint of nike stores than most though.

This, and NYC is huge distance wise, not like a lot of other cities. If they open a HOH or something in Brooklyn or Long Island chances are a person living in the Bronx or Manhattan arent gonna travel all the way out there. And like someone else mentioned, 34th Street is a zoo that only toursits frequent. Id rather try my luck online then try and camp out there.

So what will happen to the FA employees who work at that store? Will they be JB employess now or what?

isn't the first store in sf on market?

Yeah the first US store, but this NYC store is the first "stand alone" version in the US. SF store is on an entire floor in Shiekh's flagship store. The store in Asia opened a few weeks before the one in SF. This NYC Store is backed by the foot action too, so they may get a few more pairs of GR's than the other 14 of these planned to open in major US cities. This store won't be anything to get excited over tho. Jordan brand has to sell all of the crap that it was dumping on the boutiques and mom n pops that it has quit doing business with the last 15 months. These stores are where all that team Jordan and seasonal new release Jordan brand merchandise/apparel/sneakers will go.

This gentleman understands. Also the resell prices at mom n pop stores, and backdoor politics is completely insane now. Only way you're copping anything out here is if you camp or are cozy with the owner, which doesn't always work in your favor anyway. Most of my purchases this year have been online, overseas or because I knew someone, NY is a zoo.

Aint that the damn truth

The funny thing is all us nt newyorkers at least once will shop there.
some a lot more than once
Im happy for the store but its going to be too much trouble to get most retro releases here
Unless the store can figure something out and I doubt that or footaction ever cares to figure out a plan for retro releases.

barely anything else will sell out

They had this same store in the early 90's here in Charlotte but it didn't last long, hopefully it's a better run the second time around!

So it'll be more like a Jordan Outlet store (With limited releases).

Hope they make one in LA, CALI

YES… EXCEPT THE OUTLET MERCHANDISE WILL BE RETAIL WHICH WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO THROW A STONE THROUGH THE GLASS WINDOW
