Charlotte has acquired Milwaukee's Luke Ridnour and Gary Neal for Ramon Sessions and Jeff Adrien.

In 3-team deal, Washington will send Eric Maynor and two 2nd-round picks to the Sixers to complete Andre Miller trade, source tells Yahoo.

Washington will get Andre Miller, Denver gets Vesley and Philadelphia gets Maynor and two second-round picks.

So Washington traded Vesley and Maynor AND 2 2nd rounders for a 37-year old PG?

The annual shuffle of bench players, aging veterans, crappy contracts, and second round picks is always so much fun.

This is usually how it is. Everyone constantly posting rumors of big trades that never happen. Everyone excited for the trade deadline for a bunch of meaningless trades.

I Blame Basketball Reasons.

Why is everyone acting as if 2nd rounders are suddenly super valuable... 9/10 a second rounder is going to bring you nothing but a role player... the wizards already have an influx of young 2nd rounders who haven't really improved much

You obviously don't know how much not having a legit backup to Wall has hurt the team.

I think, more than anything, I'm glad the team did not give up on Glen Rice Jr. I can live with the deal....however, as it stands, the Wizards will have NO picks in the 2014 draft.

*edit*

The frustrating part of the whole thing is we had Kendall Marshall, but NEVER gave him a chance. He's a local kid, too. :smh:

Again, this is yet another example of Ernie cleaning up his own mess. The level of incompetence in the FO is mind blowing. How he still has a job is insane...

There's not much of a disparity between a late first round draft talent and early second round talent, so if a team is fortunate enough to draft a role player in the second round, that's highly valuable moving forward. Having the rights to a talent for 2-3-4 years for dirt cheap makes thing easier.

Still, seems like a relatively heavy price to pay for a 37-year old PG with one more year left after this one. I like Andre Miller, but I for sure won't trade all those players and picks for him. Especially when the Nuggets pretty much has 0 leverage in any trade negotiations since Miller is just sitting out.

its time for the second round of the NBA draft, with the 31-60th picks, the 76ers select....

seriously they have 9 second rounders

Well ****...I approve of getting Maynor and a couple 2nd rounders for some sort of ghost. Works for me.
