Nike Zoom Turf Re- Retro - Barry Sanders + A Surprise...

Saw the blue pair in kids sizes at a local JJ. Not too happy with the look, hopefully men's sizes look better. The only pair I want.

The Oregon joints are decent but not touching Air Mission Ducks.
 
$150? wow they really do try for the stars especially with their recent quality issues i wouldnt pay $100 for them, bring on the low low
 
The oregons looks like crap. I remeber in sept. when they showed us the sample qith the clear mint green bottom. It was so nice!! Now we get this apple green. Its terrible. The blue turfs look terrible too. The blue is too light and the tongue is not white. Such a comfy shoe too

Was excited when those came out in 06/07 but Nike dropped the ball on those as well. First they had the right color blue but it was a bit faded and not solid all the way around. The pair I had and the ones I saw in the store where the same. The blue on the OG was always a bit more vibrant. The clear bottom came already pre yellowed. A nice light blue tint like the new retros would have been nice. The OG's had white laces and not black (which is a smaller issue). And finally the carbon fiber was off. I sold my DS pair hoping that Nike would get it right on the retro the second time around.

Regardless this will always be one of my favorite pairs from the mid 90's. Nike came with heat in every sport.
 
My biggest issue with the 2014 retro is the blue tongue. I didn't mind the differences from the OG with the last retro, being that I copped for about $50. Don't think I will cop the 2014 retro, even for a deep discount. Very disappointed :smh: .
 
Anybody still looking for the Oregon colorway, Compound in Portland,OR has then for $99 and accepts phone orders.
 
Nike, it's been 8 years and my pair is showing its age. When are these going to come back out?! I swear we've gotten the Speed Turfs multiple times since these retroed.

I never double up on shoes. But knowing what I do now. If (when hopefully) these come back out I will grab multiples since it'll be the better part of a decade before they drop again.

I regretted not copping but the quality was poop and I think there was a detail they changed that I didn't like. But my Blue pair is JUST like this.. too small but not sure if they are separating. I love them and had them in 96 for my back to school kicks in 6th grade.
 
The GOAT rocking Zoom Turf Jets at his statue unveiling today. These are different from the ones that released 4 years ago with his signature. Maybe something coming? At this point I will settle for the Zoom Turf Jets since he did wear those as well. Nike come on; Emmit just got his shoes retroed again, what is the deal!?
