Post your observations from this past weekend...

-I honestly can't believe people really thought the Colts stood a chance on Saturday. I know anything's possible but that wasn't. Props to Luck though. Some of those throws were nice.

-Sean Payton called one of the worst games I've seen while he's been a Head Coach.

-Panthers weren't built. Everyone knew it. No WR core and that running game was downright terrible yesterday. Props to the 49ers defense though. They showed out.

-If Peyton loses to Brady and Belichek again, he won't be #1 all time. But....If he wins these next two games though, he will be #1. Funny how that works on here.

-Brady hands the ball off all game="Brady putting the team on his back." Russell Wilson does the same="Seahawks win despite his poor play." LOL. NT for you. Agenda-talk.net

-Cam had all that coming to him yesterday though. He had an S4L type season. All jokes when you're winning, but when you lose, prepare to be mocked and imitated .

-Broncos VS. Seattle in the Super Bowl.

4 for 4 on my picks vs the spread yesterday, feels good :pimp:

Can't believe 49ers and Panthers were a pick em'.

NFC championship game will be so much better than the AFC game, don't care if it's Brady/Peyton...their defenses are ****.

Broncos and Seahawks both win this week.

Games went exactly as I expected

- Saints gonna have nightmares about Seattle for the entire offseason, just a house of horrors for them

- Colston's throw was the most memorable thing from the entire weekend, just pure comedy

- literally felt like the Saints were trying to kill Harvin :x

- Colts defense is just awful, looks worse than those Manning years. Luck put them in a hole on with all those picks but the Pats were just killing them with every play call it seemed

- easiest game I've ever seen Brady play that resulted in a win, Blount dominated

- I said it in the prediction thread the Panthers offense did not scare me one bit and their secondary was weak, both did not show up yesterday in any way. Run game was awful, Cam was throwing bad passes and the secondary was committing some of the dumbest penalties ever. They got a lot of holes that were hidden by that long win streak

As for next week all I want are entertaining games, pulling for Seattle and Denver

--Young Kap back at it!!

--"Still Roc La Familia (Team 49ers)..........says a lot about YOU if you not feeling us"
nerd.gif

--The rest of the games and turnouts were just about what I expected.

--I like Andrew Luck, but 7 interceptions in the last 2 weeks of the playoffs isn't really helping his case or his supporters case in regards to him being the so called next great quarterback.  That's not a knock on Luck really, more so that some of his supporters need to put the anointing oil away for awhile until it's deserved.

No doubt Saints bountied Harvin.

Sean Peyton is sub-Harbaugh for me, love seeing him lose.

- Wilson made just enough throws to keep the pressure on the Saints, but will have to do much more versus the Niners. The defense and Lynch played big yet again.

- Clock struck 12 for the Panthers. The defense just couldn't hold up anymore after missed opportunities from the offense. Also, you can't start getting salty and still keep costing your time when the game is out of reach.

- Chargers ran out of steam after starting too late. Peyton did exactly what he was supposed to, but that defense will need to be great next week.

- Welp, no more coddling for Luck from his supporters til next season. I found it funny that even though he did make some great throws Sunday (as well as Brazil and Hilton making great catches, some even bailout catches), that every other QB could've had multiple INT games (including Brady and Manning), and would not have had a bib and baby blanket wrapped around them like Luck. The commentators practically said "Don't mind those INTs babe, you're gonna be a legend soon, everything will be ok". They turned his INTs into a positive and gushed over him. Let him produce first before crowning him, so you don't have to save face later on by tearing him down if he fails.

Cam gonna have to rinse and repeat next year

Kaep is a douche but he wants that villain role; it's time to own up to it next year and not be humbled in Seattle

Peyton is winning next week

Games were some of the least memorable division games in a long time

well at least the eagles dont have to worry about who we schedule in our home opener next season...

really did expect more from the chargers.. ditto saints and panthers, especially the panthers.. but once san fran got on a roll late in the 1st half, the game was done

Cam Newton with the anti-Dalton press conference btw. Won't get any credit for it though.

- blows my mind that pagano and the colts were not ready to stop the run after what they saw us do in similar weather against buffalo just two weeks prior. that team was not ready
- andrew luck with some bad INTs...he'll get a bit of a pass because it's him trying to do too much. whether or not you agree is another story.
- was rooting for Cam. i do think he took a step forward this year. get him a couple weapons to work with and he should continue to improve
- that niner defense is playing for real
- chargers lost that game in the first half. way too conservative.
- seattle did what seattle does in seattle. shocker.
- jimmy graham's heart pumps kool aid

edit: but luck also had some gems that were very nice. some of those throws while nearly wrapped up or while on the move. have fun with that AFC South :x

It's games like these that Belichick shines. Completely outcoached Pagano from start to finish. He knew that if he stuffed the run game, it would force Luck into bad throws and they'd come up with turnovers... and it worked perfectly.

Young QBs are food for Bill and Co, especially ones like Luck who take risks that they shouldn't.

Is bill the goat ?

the spy gate cloud hurts his case...but i think he has a case for GOAT. the consistency of the patriots during his time is pretty amazing. especially given the way he runs the team. no matter who's on the field (besides brady)...we're a playoff team that usually makes a run.

9 AFC Championship games in 11 years + 5 Super Bowls (3 wins) puts him in a VERY select group of coaches.

It's one thing to win titles... it's something else to maintain that level of consistency over a decade. Teams become hot, grab a title, then fade away for a while. The Pats are always there. They won 11 games with Matt ******g Cassel at QB. He couldn't even beat Christian Ponder out in Minnesota. That says something.

Regardless of GOAT status, he's the best I've seen.

Thank God Cleveland booted him

Walsh is my personal favorite but BB is up there with the greats

That can't be chester typing that... who hacked his account??

Just because I respect the guy doesn't mean I can't hate his franchise.

Just like with Uggs, I think his best work is post-Spygate. Brady's 36-4 year was a thing of beauty, and the fact that the Pats are in the AFCCG after losing like 30% of their roster to injuries and jail time says something.

You can't deny what they've done.
