Wife and I planning on going to NYC in late July. Had a question in what areas I should stay at. Thinking about getting an apartment/studio from AIRBNB.com and want to know what areas i should be looking at and where to avoid. Also comment on anything i should check out as well. Checking out a Yankee game for sure. Gonna be there for 4 days.

Reps for those who help.
Thanks in advance

Fap on the train then you'll be a real New Yorker. Visit Flushing or Chinatown for cheap Asian food.

Bike ride around the city would be pretty kool. Walk over a few bridges. Take a trip to see the statue of liberty. Eat at lombardis pizza, see a broadway show, check out the WTC, shop, walk, do some more shopping, and do some more walking.

do favor for us ........... pls meet up with NINJAHOOD :smokin

it will make your trip to NYC become AWESOME :smokin

Thanks for the replies so far guys, as for what areas i should be looking for a place to stay?

. OP, prepare for humidity, it's disgusting here in the summer.

I will say be prepared to walk wherever you go. Definitely eat a slice of Pizza, go to a museum, definitely try to get to Central Park. Have fun. Keep us updated.

Get some $1 2 bros pizza off GP from 2 St Marks Pl, New York, NY 10003

I am just saying its only a dollar.

Museum would be nice for you and your wife.

Srsly though

Hit Central Park for sure

Try to use the subway system as much as possible for the experience as well as to save money.

Word to HOV

Yellow cab,  gypsy cab,  dollar cab,  holla back
For foreigners it ain't fair, they act like they forgot how to add

Taxi drivers can smell tourists from a mile away dont get raped b

Also try to make it out to places beyond 96th street to really catch the multicultural vibe.

Also hit flightclub just to look its kind of like a museum in its own right even though the prices are outrageious

Take a ferry

Get you some good street meat

dont ride in taxi's, they bouta charge you an arm and leg fam'. This goes without saying, but stay away from places like south bronx, esp. at night. Do some touristy things like central park, time square, hit china town, museum, etc.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you to stay away from the south bronx. They obviously don't know what they talking about. It's one of the dopes places in NYC. Highly underrated. You'll love it there. And also like someone pointed out, the pink houses are also a great place to hang out. A must see
