NT'er Background Check: Since85 (Sneaker Exchange)

Me and @Since85 are doin' a Black n' Red 1's exchange for my size 12 and for his 11.5.. He sounds mad cool speaking to him through PM's and even gave me his phone number. HE wants me to send my pair first because he's been got in the past by shady sneakerheads. And once he receives my pair, he then will send his. I am wondering if any of y'all have dealt with @Since85 in the past regarding sneakers. I just don't wanna get got. I mean, dude is cool but I met him on here so ya know..

this is where you messed up. minus whale called it a pizza party

Nah I'm here. Sorry for the late response. Was busy in production meetings all day yesterday.

I was originally down for a meet up @DipsetGeneral  knows this. He's in MA and Im here in NY but I'm originally from CT so going to meet somewhere in between was NEVER a problem for me but he declined. Shipping to a moderator is also an option I am open to provided it isn't asking too much from the moderator. I am/reluctant to do a paypal transaction because I've never done a Paypal trade. I've only copped using my paypal.

I can understand why everyone would feel like I'm a scam. However, NOT only did i provide tagged pics FIRST! I even told @DipsetGeneral  how to do it because he didn't tag HIS pics. I still can post the pics if anyone feels like I'm not being truthful.

I just don't understand why it can't all be so simple (Ghostface voice)

At this point I'm contemplating just keeping my 11.5s because I just wanna wear these already!!!

But I'm willing to make it work. Because it would make both parties happy and I like being apart of the NT community because people up here have helped me out numerous times and I believe in keeping the good karma going.

Im just not gonna be made to look shady or anything. I'm a good dude.

I respect that. This thread wasn't made in an attempt to slander you, my dude. I was just askin' the the NT fam for advice and guidance on going through with this cause the sneaker game is so dirty :smh: . Being that I met you online is why I have to be on my P's n' Q's. I'm still down to do it. I just don't want any tomfoolery going on when I'm waiting for the mailman everyday for the next year anticipating a package

The sooner you want to meet, or send yours the sooner we can put all this behind us.

I JUST WANT TO WEAR BLACK AND RED 1s

Na, You come to an agreement on whats fair with the price. You agree to ship COD on the same day, When the mailman drops off your kicks you handem a USPS money order for the shoes same with him. Thats the only way I sell is COD, yea it's a few extra bucks but your not gonna get burnt. It looks like things have changed in the last couple years, everyone use to be fairly trustworthy on NT! You'd hear an occasional story about someone getting bombed but not really SMH at what it's turned into. If you live and die buy the dont ship first policy youll never get any trades done, unless its local meet up.

I'm open for that too. As long as it works. What you're implying is that he send his and i send mines but make it cash on delivery. Im ok with that. Sounds like it would cost the same to meet up (don't know why we still can't do that) but if it helps everyone sleep easier I'm down.

I am going to a consignment shop out here that might be interested in doing the trade just so everyone knows and it's out in the open. At this point I just wanna get this whole ordeal behind me.

send me one 11.5 and one 12...then send each other the remaining shoes...

catch me rocking them, one 11.5 and one 12...wouldnt eeem care

not srs

meet up for pizza or nada

Dude offers to meet up and that's still not good enough.

That's the funny part about doing business online people trying to scam and those who are just slow all sound the same. (I know Dipset isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer)

One guy wanted to buy some shoes from me a few years back and asked how was he suppose to pay..."do I just give you my credit card number?"

I'm not driving to CT or NY for a pair of sneakers. Have a good day, Einstein.

Cause I roam from state-to-state.
I still don't understand the Cash on Delivery process.

The Cash on Delivery process is simple: You box up your shoes, got to the post office fill out a COD form that goes on the box. On that form there will be a specified amount of money that the USPS is getting a USPS money order for when they drop off the shoes and you sign for them. As long as both parties go on the same day and provide eachother with tracking numbers then there should be no issue!! Lets say Dipset doesnt get a tracking number within 24 hours, he calls the Post office and cancels it and they mail back the package. If everythings good then theyll both provide tracking numbers with the COD amount listed and the deal is done

if I was a shady dude it would be so easy to scam people

Why would anyone send first or gift?

This reminds of the Proto thread when he gifted $1300 for Yeezy 2's and got scammed because he sent it as a gift to save $50 on $1300 shoes
