Nigeria bans gay marriage, gay meetings -- Does so secretly

The gay struggle and the black struggle are totally different for obvious reasons.

You can choose to keep your gayness private word to 2 of the most powerful men in the country being closet homosexuals at a time where blacks were being treated like animals because they "looked" different.

However i do believe civil rights are civil rights and not designated to one group of people.

What do you guys think about kids having the option of which gender restroom they feel like using?

Do you think it's okay to let a boy in an all girls bathroom because he feels like a princess?

Do you think it's okay to let your daughter go to a bathroom full of boys because she thinks she's a tomboy?



This issue is gonna have a forever expanding grey area because sexuality is not a definable as whether a person is a human or not.


And LGBT people do have the power of disclosure at their hands. They can choose whether or not to tell someone about their sexual orientation.

Being black speaks for itself.







And to my LGBT people, you have to understand how taboo talking about sex was/ is. We talk about sex all day in this country, but nothing about sexual education. Majority of ppl I would say are

sexually illiterate and pick everything ip from friends, media and experience.

Some people don't want to think about same sex people and what they do just like a man wishes to not know about the sexual relations between his daughter and her husband.

its not about the past, if slavery never happened black people STILL would deserve every right that any other human has. in 2014 if demographic A doesnt have the same rights as demographic B then its a problem that needs to be looked at. just because the gay population never had to deal with slavery and the various other hate crimes that african americans went through doesnt mean that they didnt have to deal with their own hate crimes and that denying their rights isnt also ignorant and oppressive

First off we agree, let entire gay&lesbian community cook.

But as brother, it doesn't bother me when I hear people comparing the two plights

They're not saying the magnitude of the struggles match.

There trying to point out the same BS logic that was used to do major, inexcusable dirt to blacks, is now being repackaged in order to keep the Gay and Lesbian community down. And that it was wrong then, and it is wrong now

As a man black man I'll be damn if the same BS rhetoric that keep my people down is recycled, reused and repackaged to me in other to keep down another group of people. Period.

I ain't game gonna be ran on me like that

-But I ain't tryin to argue brah, just saying, that's how I view things
