this is a question for the ages, I'm from the NYC area and sneaker stores are a dime a dozen but very little stores around here have the contracts that can keep up with the ever changing market place. My go to spot is a Mom and Pop shop called "Sneaker Lounge" in Eastchester,NY and Westwood,NJ they have a amazing contract(Urban Pinnacle Boutique) and sell everything for retail Unlike WESTNYC. Kith is always a good choice but there is so much hype built around that store, with good cause Tier0 accounts tend to attract crowds especially with those collabs, but with Kith what bothers me is that its more about the fashion trends rather than the shoes. I tend to go more for the low key spot's like Sneaker Lounge. They have the same contract as Kith and dont require crazy camp outs or have hostile employees. they actually have a good nike account, I wouldn't go as far as to say they suck
but as people in this thread have said, if you really have a nice low key spot theres no need to blow it up, especially here of all places. id keep that **** to myself as long as possible. And
at west and their markups. Whats worse is that they stopped releasing most of the limited kicks that they get. They used to at least release everything and charge retail(or close to it, released all the BINs) but now the owner lester (or whatever his name is) keeps the shoes amongst himself and the employees who work there.Similar threads
